Your technique is the reason why most isometrics products in the market or diy isometrics equipment use springs to simulate a live load (like you pushing against more than your 1RM and moving slightly) when being pulled or pushed on, great stuff regardless! Hopefully this style of training becomes more recognized!

I've found this when using a large amount of band tension. It really makes you push harder than you otherwise would.

Yes this is great! I just heard a track coach talking about this type of overcoming iso. You think it’s more dangerous tho?

​@@willratelle8027 this is old but I second this. Managed to get one for less than half the original price lightly used and welded together my own platform for more width and it's a sick tool. The ability to track what you're doing really does make all the difference, and the "load" mode where you can set a weight and then hear a beep per every second you sustain it is a feature that I think can truly enhance anyone's game. As long as you're working from a multitude of angles, like a low, medium, and high position, and messing around with time under load, I really think that this in combination with some other basics is an incredible way to enhance your strength and physique, and it's about as safe as it gets when working with high loads. And they're not even paying me to say this....
