I picked up the Makeup Revolution palette a few days ago and it has definitely made it to my “go to” palettes on my vanity. It is amazing! I always foil my shimmer shadows, so I don’t find the shimmer shades to be a problem when doing that. I highly recommend this palette and any others that Makeup Revolution makes!

I have the Hush palette and mine isn’t quite as patchy as yours was. But I still find it harder to work with than the other Hush palettes I own. The base plays a huge role in how it performs. I usually use concealer as an eyeshadow base and then set it with powder.

BTW, hard candy seems to have a new stick foundation for 7$!! i hope you can try it out. unfortunately porcelain is too dark for me (im basically translucent) but i think it will work for you shade-wise. i'd love to see a video testing new hard candy stuff, they have a lot!

I am in medical school so don't really do make up right now but studying for about 90 hrs a week (not counting class) I have very limited time. I LOVE my retro palette, mine isn't patchy at all. With any palette sometimes there are good runs and bad runs when they are made. I've also found that with hush the first palettes released always seem the best then after they restock a couple times. I have pretty much all the dupe palettes they have and every single one has been amazing! I love your honesty for your personal experience though.

leebees hush really has amazing palettes, but you have to keep in mind the price point. You’re paying $10-12 for a dupe. Most of the dupes are fantastic for the price point, but you will find there is a bit more fall out and you have to blend more than you would with the actual brand name. With that being said, I do find that Bad Habit is a great brand if you understand what you’re buying. I have about fifteen of their palettes and a few additional palettes from Beauty Creations as well.

I actually really love the look you ended up with. I have the Makeup Revolution one. I always want to use that light greenish shimmer but it just never works for me. Apart from that, I don’t actually consciously decide which mattes to use, I pick two or three at random and then figure it out from there!

I don't have the retro love palette but I have 4 other palettes by bad habit and they are all amazing! I have the Athena, supernova, inferno and artistry palettes and they are sooo good! From reviews I've seen the retro love is the only bad palette from bad habit. Also from reviews bad habit seems to be the overall best brand from Hush.

You should try the primer from the Hush app. It's preformed better than any other primer I've tired, especially around my glasses. It's kind of shocking considering its only $2. And it doesn't clog my pores or make me break out.

Can't wait for 15 days of foundation! I'm not sure if you're still taking suggestions for it but I would love if you reviewed DMK foundation. One of my other favorite youtubers (Serein Wu) uses it as her go to foundation when she has eczema flare ups and general skin issues. She use to work as an actress and she said on set the makeup artist used that foundation on a girl with bad acne and over the week of filming she saw the foundation heal her acne. I've been so interested in the foundation ever since but there's not too many reviews on it.

Hush is just the website that carries the brand😊 you should try the dupe for the huda pallet from bad habit, the name of it is Athena palette, it works amazing and is an perfect dupe for huda palette!(you'll get that one on the hush app too)
