Maybe we're just desensitized due to constant exposure to so many high-power bikes, but dang...208 WHP never stops sounding crazy to me, especially from a light literbike. 😮

It definitely is a very respectable number. Also these BMW's have a ton of low end torque compared to even the Panigale V4 models!

beautiful bike, but why not use the galespeed vre master cylinder in the front brake as well?
@Motomillion Жыл бұрын
We think Brembo is currently the best option out there for the front. For the rear Brembo has some options, but it requires even more work to get it to work.

Anyway you can raise the handlebars on a s1000rr?

Not really possible without having the handlebars to hit the bodywork lock to lock turning. Best bet is to get an S1000R.

Beautiful, do the M winglets fit without issue on the S1000RR and where can they be purchased?
@Motomillion Жыл бұрын
Thank you. The winglets can be seen here : www.motomillion.com/collections/bmw-s1000rr-2019/products/m1000rr-carbon-fiber-aero-wing-winglets-set-for-s1000rr-m1000rr-k67?variant=39392928333890 They do not come with a template, since they are the OE replica winglets, you will need to determine the position where you have to drill your holes for the winglet.

12:40 as the pads are wearing down you need to adjust the brake lever? sorry mani but how does this make sense? the brake fluid will compensate the brake pad wear, not the lever.
@Motomillion Жыл бұрын
Pad knock back becomes much more of an issue when the pads are worn and the caliper pistons are extended out further. I guess I should have went into detail, but then again, many people get bored of this detailed of information. Also, in some extreme cases, it can cause break fluid to get too low in the reservoir, and with lean angles that the race bikes run on, easy to get air in the system which will start causing brake fade issues.

How to fix that neutral problem ?
@Motomillion Жыл бұрын
BMW's fix is to put a shim between the clutch pack, since the early versions stick and don't separate properly with the clutch lever being pulled.

its going to take a few iterations of the M1000 to get the bike right, the S1000rr is perfectly nimble for street and track while the m1000rr just looks too wide, heavy, and cheesy
@Motomillion Жыл бұрын
The M1000RR is definitely not heavier even though it looks heavier. You can actually feel the weight difference when you jump from one onto the other. I think since the M1000RR is a homologation bike, BMW has compromised some things to make it road legal.

We have mentioned it many times on why we use the NRC. Simply the best one out there given the looks and safety side of things where you want the lights to be visible.
