Torque wrench? BMW screws are disposable screws and need to be replaced.

Oh yea those thing are super light weight aluminum but yes I replaced all the stator cover screw and thermostat cover screws and I tighten them all by hand. I used a torque wrench to the correct 3nm and then 90° but I was breaking them even with that correct torque so I just started Torquing them by hand. But everything else was torque with a torque wrench some film some I didn’t but almost everything got Loctite as well so nothing‘s coming off that bike. lol

Bmw plastics seem to be very good quality

Yea these after market fairings looked great they only had one or two broken mounting tabs.

I know it hurt my soul a little bit as well, but this bike was brand new and still under warranty and I wanted to make sure the new owner would also have that chance cause I’ve heard horror stories of exhaust, avoiding out warranties with certain sketchy dealerships, but I completely agree
