I ordered the 15 plus version of this case and I’m very happy with it. I immediately rubbed some leather balm into it as it felt pretty dry and rough out of the box. Now it’s nice and soft. The leather feels a little thicker than Apples old leather cases used to so I’m hoping it’ll survive a drop a bit better.

I really do like the Luckycoin cases. When they were first on Amazon there was a 30% coupon. I got all four colors for less than Bullstrap’s regular price! I ended up returning the “navy” blue (actually turquoise) and tan (already have Keyway and Andar in similar colors) and I’m really enjoying the black and brown (I do wish their “dark” brown was darker) being in my rotation! The only negative is that it doesn’t have quite as much grip compared to other leather cases, even after conditioning and use.

I was thinking on getting this phone case a try. Now I’m pretty sure I’m sold. But I’m definitely going with the darker brown version. Only because I think it’ll look good with the natural titanium.

Thanks for the review! You should get a magnetic viewing film type of card to check and see if these cases have the circle and alignment strip. Also the charging port not being aligned makes me think the speaker holes aren’t either. Hmm mixed feelings on it. I’ll spend extra on Andar and Ryan London for the precision and quality. You need to buy a Clayton and Crume leather case with the brass buttons. You would love the case. The most expensive leather case on the market but it’s the best case I’ve ever had. Try it out.

How does the Luckycoin compare to the Andar Aspen?

So the magsafe seems better on the Aspen and the Aspen has a metal camera ring. Both have metal buttons. I'm not sure if this case is made from full-grain leather or not, but the Aspen (and Bullstrap) is made from full-grain leather. The Aspen is also vegetable tanned. Either way though, you can't go wrong with any of these cases. The Luckycoin is definitely the cheapest price, then Aspen, and Bullstrap is most expensive.

Looks like a sweet case for the money. However, genuine leather is not even close to the same as full grain or top grain. Genuine can mean anything, even potentially a particular board style of leather. If someone wants a better quality leather case stick to full grain, that’s the best of the best and a true leather. That's a good question. It doesn't say on Amazon and I can't find it anywhere online. I would imagine it's top grain, just because of the price. But don't let that deter you, it's an excellent case and feels just like the Bullstrap.
