One of these days i would like to see a xerion flip the cab around for reverse driving. I just think that it is a neat capability for it to be able to do that due to there not being many tractors that can do that
@thesteelrodent17962 жыл бұрын
only the Trac VC (VC = Variable Cab) version can turn the cab around. The one in this video is the basic Trac version which doesn't have the reversible cab. But when you have the reversible cab you normally spin around to do silage, and put the blade on the back (which then becomes the front).

Question. Why do they cut it and shoot it into the trailer without bailing it? Do they bale it later on or is this different than your regular hay?
@YourMom-ro1ig3 жыл бұрын
That process is actually not hay, it’s called sileage (common name when made with corn) or haylage. It’s cut then after a very short dry time while the plant still has a significant amount of moisture, it’s chopped like dicing an onion. It’s then hauled to a place to packed. A lot of times it will be put in a pit on a feedlot or dairy and then packed. You will often see those packing tractors with huge chunks of concrete weights hooked up to the rear of the tractor. It’s packed to try to remove all of the oxygen, then covered with a tarp. All those white tarps with tires on them in the video are other piles of sileage or haylage. I’ve only personally been around corn sileage when it was fed and it has a very unique smell as it ferments. Very high in protein which is why you see it commonly on feedlots and dairies.
