Im glad to see you fishing with someone that enjoys those creek/small river floats as much as you do. That is definitely my favorite type of fishing. Beautiful scenery and you never know what to expect when fishing areas like that. 👊👍

Oh wow. You and Chad! I haven't even started to watch yet. Fishing with Mr. Kayak fisherman himself. This should be great! ...after watching... it didn't disappoint. As a matter of fact, these collabs can go one of two ways. The usual way, both people have their own Kayak and float without too much footage of both at the same time. Or... this way. A lot of by yourself time supplemented by just some awesome together time. The 2 times that were just awesome were 1) 9 min - 12 min and 2) 12:30 - 14:45. - The whole trip was just a treat to watch. You two were like a couple of kids who just found the candy jar! Loved it!

My pawpaw, my dad, my uncles, and me have lived and fished this area our entire lives. On the little warrior mostly (locust fork) mostly . We have a big family reunion every year at rickwood on fish caught from there in October. Fish fry for at least 100 people. They used to be a lot more people, but so goes life 😢

I usually wade fish but have started using the Kayak more. We had one day that we floated 3 or 4 miles, the last number I remember was we had 22 over 15 inches. We lost count after that. Several over 20. Those days stick in your mind. Where you were fishing reminded me of it. Otters have been reintroduced to Missouri kind of destroyed the fishing. Loved the video.

Had this day on Sunday. Fished from 4:30pm to 8:30pm, urban river setting with virtually no flow and lowest water I’ve seen in years…caught 76 fish, majority smallmouth, a couple largemouth, rock bass, crappies, and a few channel cats. Ran out of 2 different soft plastic baits completely…multiple fish were hitting each cast when it landed and basically fighting over who got hooked…I quit when I got poked unhooking a surprise 10 pound channel cat on a 4” gulp crawler….glorious.
