I grew up on these islands! Well, I lived in the east coast of Malaysia and my family used to go to these islands for a picnic once or twice a month. Now I live in North America and around Europe. But the blue ocean and the sound of the waves hitting the shore are home to me. I love your video even though it made me homesick.

@@SilkyRonTheRoad Yes, it was! My skin was so tan growing up that everyone was surprised to see how pale my skin actually was after I moved away to start uni. The last time I went was before Covid (I think 2017). Last year I visited Malaysia during the monsoon season, so the island visit was a no go. You might already know this, but the monsoon season for the East Coast of Malaysia is between November - February/March, best to stay away from the islands. I hope you do go back! You are such a fun couple and your video was stunning! The cinematography, editing, music, etc was one of the best I've ever seen!

Hai guys.... love to see you both enjoying your trip.. The green balls you are eating is call "buah melaka" and the green and white gelly thing inside the pandan leafs are call Tepung Pelita. Both contains coconut and that makes it easy to get rotten so it is better to eat it fresh or if you want yo keep, keep it inside the refrigerator

That baby shark is ‘black tip reef shark and it’s harmless. The round green dessert covered in shredded coconut is ‘ ondeh ondeh’ yummy 🤤 and the other one not sure what it’s called but meant to be sweet and sour and eat it by mixing it together

They have all of the tents for people staying there. I’m not sure, maybe you can take your own tent too but when we arrived they laid out some tents that we could choose. 😊

Try not to buy any coconut based desserts after 3pm especially in hot weather. They turn bad quickly if not kept properly.

Ooh we have no idea, we visited Malaysia from May till July I think and we visited Langkawi & Lang Tengah. The best advice we can give is to contact a tour company to find out if it is possible to visit at this time. Sorry that we couldn’t be of more help! 🙏🏼

recommendation for u when with group/have community with local malaysian especially muslim better for u wear simple shirt /cover body with cloth not nice just underwear/bikini only. Glad see both of u always happy in your journey.
