I went to perhentian island 12years ago with my classmates, perhentian is quite cheap compare to redang, tioman. We stayed in a dorm for rm15/night for each of us. We didnt get to see any shark or turttle. Im glad you guys get to see them. The stairs at the windmill was still safe to use back then, we went down the stairs and swam around the jetty where a lot of small fish were taking shelter (i guess). Overall, perhentian is really cool, you can snorkel, hiking, beautiful beach n sunset and its quite affordable
@TravelsonToast6 ай бұрын
Yeah agreed, it definitely seems like the most affordable which we didn't expect at all because of how beautiful it is!

I just wanted to say what a nice video. You both are great at it, so keep going. You remined me of Myself and wife, we did the shark thing and had the same amazing reactions to it. Honestly, loved seeing that the islands havent chnaged all that much in 7/8 years. We stayed at adbul chaltes so had that nemo beach to ourselves alot and its just so special. Anyways, have fun and keep traveling 🎉❤

Im going to you on a little unspoken secret. The why east coast of peninsula is relatively unknown is because of politics 1. It has a conservative, malay muslim majority population. 2. Ruling party will always alienate opposition ruled states intheir policy and initiatives. Due to these 2 reasons they do not get much active or passive publicity. Normal folks don’t really mind international tourists as long as they do not bother local customs. These part of malaysia is some of the most beautiful place on earth. With the best food on offering.

Mesmerising isn't it? Congratulations, you two lovebirds have made it to one or both of the perhentian islands, or to Redang island, and stayed long enough to really soak in the relaxing moments 👏 Mesmerising was exactly how I felt when I went to any of those 3 islands years ago. For 5 days I was on perhentian kecil (ker-chill, not ker-sill, just like nasi campur is nasi chum-por - and not nasi come-por as how mario said), a mere 5 steps out the chalet door I was staying in and my bare feet would've already been on the soft white sands, and I felt like I didn't want to return to KL to get back to all the hustle and bustle of work again!

When was the spelling changed? I only realised when I started berjinak jinak with utube about 3 years ago. I was so confused, sh became sy, ch became c, e-tanda which was used to differentiate between saya and saye, kita kite is gone. No wonder foreigners think the name syasya is pronounced sia-sia! Thank goodness my daughter has the old spelling, aisha not aisya!

me and me mates often made a pit stop at Perhentian Island when fishing off the Mersing coast for a cool shower (water from the mountain stream) … if we made the pit stop in the evening, we will ask the villagers to cook us something and pay them generously for the meal and shower as there’s hardly any commerce there … all in all, Perhentian is the most deserted compared to other islands off the east coast imho to the point that it can be boring but pristinely beautiful … btw, its quite easy to hook a black tip shark from the shoreline … they taste much like stingrays …

Open the coconut husk by choose the thinnest area which is at the centre of the coconut like equator line of the earth. When we look at it from the top of the fruit, coconut will look like a curve triangle shape. The thinnest husk is at the flat spot. Use a palm size of a rough stone surface and rub it on the thinnest husk deep into the coconut shell which is less than 1 cm thick. Once the shell visible, use a sharp stone to make a punch hole. Peel off the broken shell and the coconut flesh will be seen. Use a stick to punch the coconut flesh as it a soft part and it will direct to the water below the flesh.
