Arrtx are becoming the newest marker for all artists. I wanted to buy a set for prime day but I figured I'd wait for another sale. I do hope to try them someday

Honestly, prime day was a rip off. I loaded up my cart with art supplies and waited patiently for prime day. Everything was still the same price or more expensive and almost everything has been delayed because the volume of orders they're dealing with.

Oh boy, I wouldn't really know how to "teach" anyone that... I just mark with white on any bulbous spot where the light source is. like all on the left side or the right side - whichever side you decide the light is coming from.

Gotta tell you this is probably THE BEST video I’ve seen comparing two product!! SO good! Now I kinda want you to compare both e types of arrtx markers, the brush ones vs. these You did great!!!

I'm excited to try the brush and see how they do, but I'm almost expecting each to be good in their own ways.... Like these are good and juicy, great for big blocks of color, but doing details with them was AWFUL! Meanwhile I think I'll enjoy doing details with the brush pens , but not filling in large areas. But maybe a piece with them together.... could be harmony! 💜

@@artwithashleighmonet I hide them all over the place, local parks, doctors offices, bus stops, shopping malls etc. There are facebook groups all over the world, that keep track of the rocks you hide and when someone finds your rock we ask if they could post a pic, then take it and rehide it. I’m in the SA Rocks group (South Australia). It’s just a bit of fun..

I love finding brands that have good quality for a great price. I feel like in the art community, you get a lot of that "brand name" mentality and people just spend money they don't need to.

Red seems to be a hard colour to find in acrylic markers. My favourite is by molotow.

Ive got a pack of brush nib Arrtx, with the pump start thing being on the very end. My only problem with them is lack of colour range! I cant speak for there bullet nib pens as i tend to avoid any pen like that ...and i will lay that dislike firmly at posca's feet. Ive never had any luck or decent results with posca. Funny really how different users have such different experiences with the same supply's :) Thanks for this review hon, Im going to keep avoiding bullet nib's, even Arrtx ones :)

I agree with you on that. Bullet nibs are only good for specific applications (like large area coverage and these odd surfaces.) I think I will enjoy using the brush tips more for the type of work I do (the details)

This is so interesting, Ashleigh.👏 For the hot shrink sheet, if we apply too many layers, there will be bubbles and the effect will not be very good.🥲 This 3mm acrylic marker is really too juicy lol.🥲🤣 If you like hot shrink sheet drawing, you can try it when testing our brush acrylic markers, that will show a better effect.🙌

I have both brands (although just the brush nibs for Arrtx) and I almost always pick up the Arrtx now. They are just easy and you're right, they have a great colour range. I think my 30 marker boxes cost around the same as my 8 marker posca sets.

I have bought the Simtap markers from Arrtx and I'm excited to give them a try! I like that they don't require you to press down on the nib to activate the paint. You really put those markers through their paces. I appreciate the attention to detail in the review! I'm totally going to try painting on the glass of picture frames now. Such a cute idea! I'm excited to try any sort of brush from them, because again, detail work is more the type of style I like to do, but the bullet nibs are good for large surface areas, so it's almost like you just need to have a whole arsenal of paint pens for all different applications. Hi Sandi! Thanks for watching from so far away! The clips are just refrigerator magnets I got at the dollar store. The magnet doesn't serve a purpose, but it does make them heavy, and that helps keep the book open! The colored pencils I have been using are the Soucolor brand from Amazon, I'll link (although not sure if the links work international?) I truly believe these Arrtx will last a LONG time. They have a little clear line down the side so you can see how much paint is left in the marker (love that) And they have plenty to start!
