I've used this since 1979. The problem is, I can't smell it anymore . I wish I could. I remember it being so beautiful. My wife and daughter love it. In recent months I've tried all the designer fragrances...BDC, Sauvage, D&G the one. YSL and on and on. They are all terrible to me. I'm going to stick with Jovan.

When we find a scent that smell amazing, we should stick with it. Personally It's not too much my style, but it's way more original Tham the current release.

1st time tried today. Surprised by how good it is, to my nose. Its usually about 1/10th the price of some of my designer frags but today noticed it as a clearance item at half that price so got a bottle. A halfbrother to Quorum maybe - simple ,soapy , manly, musky - but without the tobacco and a bit more floral. Great stuff fir the price. The skin scent hours later reminds me a bit of green irish tweed hours after a spray.

First bought Jovan Musk in 1975. I was 16 yo. It was very, very popular with hip young people at that time. Original formulation was quite good, and its still pretty good today!!

I've seen this fragrance since I was a kid, I'm a 48 year old male now and just bought a bottle for the first time as it's so cheap. I still don't know what to make of it. It's not unpleasant but it does smell a bit feminine to me.

Javon Musk, Versace Blue Jeans, Cool Waters, all timeless. My father wore Javon Musk and I always will remember the smell

I remember standing in front of the mirror with my father pretending to shave with him with a razor with no blade. Then we would both Splash on some Jovan musk aftershave. I still wear it from time to time just to bring back that very fond memory

I smelled both and I disagree. They are really different to me. But our sense of smell are all different and the way fragrances react our skin too so that might just be it.
