I'm always a bit shocked at the people that don't understand why the homeless would choose the scratch off over the bread. From their perspective, one piece of bread does nothing to change my life. I'm a little less hungry in this very moment, but nothing changes. I'm homeless and always hungry. For the "lottery", there is a chance that my life could actually change for the better. Yes, that chance is so tiny that it may as well be impossible, but it is still higher than that of a single piece of bread. When you are at the low of a point in life, $1 or one piece of bread is one more than what I have, but makes no real difference in my quality of life. So most people would rather take small chance a lottery gives you to restart your life.

I think it's more of an addiction issue that many homeless people have Like drugs or alcohol. If many of them won any money that's the first thing they would buy with it. I have witnessed this behavior from my own brother Who took Christmas money that my parents sent him for his children then disappeared for the weekend on a drug and alcohol bender spending the money.

i have this kind of perspective where a person who takes a risks is part of human evolution and survival instinct.. people who have no motivation risking something, will always be in the lowest chain of the system... for me, bread represents people who dont want to risk anything and usually the people who follows anyone's command which is opposite to a person with leadership.. for people who takes lottery, yes its gambling but that's not what we only gamble.. no matter where you work, there's something you always risk for daily food, for monthly rent, for family's health, anything.. some people will do sins like backstabbing fellow coworkers just to get that promotion.. some people will be in a position to decide in two option and will risk it for gains.. our ancestors risks their lives to hunt wild animals and i believe we evolve with that mibdset and with critical thinking i believe this is the reason we are more stress than ever.. at one part, lottery looks like people in this video are gamblers but all of us are gamblers and most of us know when to take the risk.. we know the most logical answer is the bread because we are not in that point of being homeless..

Yeah, I don't find myself agreeing with Pat often, but I think he had the right idea in this episode. Finding food is probably easier than finding money, even if you have to dumpster dive for it. I don't know the odds of this particular scratch-off, looks like it might be jackpot or nothing, but most of the American ones I've seen have smaller prizes too. I'd much rather take the decent odds of winning twenty bucks than one bread roll.

Gong Yoo (Train to Busan daddy) plays crazy so well. I loved how he played the shit out of his short stint this time (probably couldn't afford him for longer). Would love to see him in more sexy villain roles. Also Lee Jung-jae (Gi-hun) was already ripped in the first season, we saw him in his whitey tighteys at the beginning of the 2nd ep when they got to return to their regular life. So I don't think it was Disney's trainers that got him to look that good, that's just the state of him in general. 😂

The soft circle on the middle of a bullet is called a primer. When you pull the trigger on a gun, it drops an internal hammer that strikes the primer, sparking the gunpowder, firing the bullet. This act causes an indentation on the primer from where the hammer hit it. The bullets is the revolver all had that tell tale indentation, showing the primer had already been hit, so the bullets were already spent and unable to be used.
