Hey Neal, thank you for all of your work. I am going to use this recipe in the next few days. Right now, in the Pittsburgh area, the outdoor temperature is 26 but feels like 18!!! But hey I'm a Marine veteran so that's no big deal. Thanks again and the very best to you and family. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

Omg! I've always shared your videos with my wife, Ellen. I have a Blackstone 36" . She wanted a 2 burner Blackstone, I got her one for Xmas last year. Now, tonight, she said I subscribed to Flat top king. Omg they have a video of chicken. Whatever? I'm making this for you!. I go out to my garage, start watching videos, and there you are with this video! She's got a wock and does an awesome job! Thank you both! I won't be cooking as much now! P.S. she is also a fan of Smoken Pecan pellets! She bought me 20lbs for Xmas!

I have a real bad habit of making extra sauce. I have dry Asian chicken anxiety. Great video, I love the way you do all of these Asian recipes on the flat top. You have the best channel for that.

Amy, you keep on rockin' the paper plates and microwave! Love you two. By the way, I would lean towards 3 chicken breasts and less sauce. OK, Neal, I have a new challenge for you. Let's see if you can flat top some amazing tamales in time for the holidays this year!! To help you get started, here's a top shelf masa recipe for you: 1/2 cup Pork Lard. Morrell Snow Cap Lard is a good choice. 2 cups homemade stock from the protein you are cooking 2 cups Maseca for Tamal. No substitutions! 1 tsp Morton's kosher salt 1.5 tsp baking powder Whip the lard until fluffy. Add in the salt and baking powder. Then add in the masa flour and stock. Whip until light and fluffy 10-15 min. Do the hydration test by pulling off a small piece and dropping it into a cup of water. If it floats, you're ready to assemble. If it sinks, add another 1/4 cup liquid and whip for 2 more minutes. Repeat until your masa floats. As for the protein, what a great chance to co-brand your pellets and pits and flat top king channels. Smoked pork paired with steamed flat top tamales... Well dang that sounds delicious!

Try white pepper in these Asian dishes. It has a bit more of a kick, it's really good. It has a pepper taste ,that black pepper has, with a bit of heat.

How do you decide what griddle you will use? You have a bunch I would think the Blackstone would t get any use.
@TheFlatTopKing3 ай бұрын
I like to rotate...sometimes if about effort...is a griddle already in place..sometimes its about viewers asking certain questions...and sometimes its about keeping them in shape...just using them...

@TheFlatTopKing3 ай бұрын
make the griddle hold the oil...dont drain to the grease trap...allow to pool in corners so you dont lose it...then as the oil drains to one side in corner...scrape it back down and allow to do it again...
