While it's not super-productive - you could also all do some hand splitting just a a change for pace (for 30 - 60 minutes once per week or something like that). It's very therapeutic! Happy Birthday to Val! I’m one of those people that just can’t do the gym scene. Sure you get exercise, but wasted a bunch of time and didn’t accomplish anything. However… I mix up my day felling trees and cutting to log length, skidding to the pile. Then buck, split and stack. I never fell more trees at one time than I can process that day. I get my exercise, use different muscle groups and feel so much better everyday. Been doing this full time since I retired 5 years ago and feel as fit as a teenager. Not to shabby a way to keep me moving as I failed to mention that I have basically a full staff of surgeons that can afford a new Porsche every year by fixing my body.

You'll have to train some of them on how to run the Axis to split bundles to keep the production flowing otherwise you'll be a bottleneck in the process.

16’ cattle panels and T-posts are sturdy and work great. Easy to handle and store when not needed. They last forever and are about 25-30 bucks and come with I believe 5 post from Tractor Supply down here.

You say not to use wire fencing for bins but how heavy is the wire? How about the wire they use for concrete. Make the bin round. No posts needed. Just bend the ends to hook together. 5 feet high and as big around as you want it.
