How cool are they! The quartz specimen at that place are a bit different to most because the gold seems to be in pure white bull quartz which makes them look amazing. Cheers Kris.

I did 1 random pan with Josh there on Wednesday and still got a ripper picker so it still has plenty of gold in them there dirts! I’ve found just shy of an ounce with the 6 so far! The large stone beeped one side but not the other. Does that mean the gold monster can only detect up to 1 inch deep only ?

Sometimes. It really depends on the size of the gold. It will pick up on gold as small as 1/20” as long as it right on the coil

@@piratescrew1869 I seen a bloke wave a 0.01 get detected with an Equinox 800 and figure a monster would too. I guess that is why you rake out a mullock and rake off on inch at a time and detect again

@@mohammednovalija true! That’s also why there is so many bits missed where they dig it out. I try and get dirt from where the big iron signals are because I think it hides the gold signals around it.🤷🏼‍♂️

Who says white quartz doesn't produce?, if you ask me, it looks spectacular the less mineralised it is, get that first bit into a bit of acid and it could turn out brilliant!!!
