Your friend is technologically potatoed. All iPhones up until iphone 10 can be jailbroken using bootra1n which allows for such features. For recording, “ iOS call recorder “source has to be added on Cydia and configured accordingly

Even if you're able to prove it in court, you can never prove it in front of society. You'll be labelled, fired from your job, dismissed if you're a tenant and God knows what not.

Very recently, I got into a situation wherein I will have to rely on call recordings. As luck would have it, I had switched on call recording on my android Samsung phone and kept my primary sim unchanged to my new iPhone 12. I now use iPhone 12 as a secondary phone. And thank you Samsung for putting in free call recording in your software.

Nicely explained. Also, If you buy a Samsung flagship smartphone these days, the camera quality is absolutely top notch and the software is very well optimized. You also get crystal clear call recording ofcourse and you even have the option to play those recordings in 1X, 2X speed and you can also skip silences in the conversation.

I always record calls. There is a misconception among people that if u record calls thats illegal but it is not. In the recording you recording your voice too so it is not illegal untill you make it public

@@sb2301 Snapdragon 888 has already surpassed A14 at raw scores. Though A14 gets a very small lead at optimisation. At those high-end price and processor power, the performance difference doesn't make a difference in real world tasks. So buy a good Android phone instead :)

@@drasticgamerstv1025 This is about procedure. Even law enforcement cannot go on tapping phone lines without warrants from court. No one admits to a murder on phone, I highly doubt the admissibility in a criminal proceeding, may be in a civil matter. But even that would be incorrect.

It's not illegal in India, Unless a Third Person records a conversation of 2 people. Mobile phone companies are able to provide Call Recording feature in India only because it's not Illegal here. We are Indians and we follow Indian law.

@Owesh Diwan The targeted ads are a result of apps AND websites using cookies. You can choose not to enable that even in Android. You can visit the apps and clear the app data that will clear all the information they stored. Besides, I rather like targeted ads to be shown to me. I have purchased some useful stuff through them. They reduce the price of an iPhone only after the launch of the new model. You cannot use chargers or data cables interchangeably with iPhone. With Android you can. iPhones come in only a few models. With Android there are hundreds of models with different shapes and sizes to choose from. Also the price point of Android gives you a large variety so you can buy one as per your budget. The apps in Android's App store are mostly free. In Apple's app store most are paid. You can download songs and videos in Android for free. With iPhone you can't. If you use a PC many files would be incompatible with your iPhone and vice versa. I can go on but I believe you get the picture.

Someone close whom I knew once got offended on finding out I have habbit of by default recording calls. Haha I had to make them understand that I had no intention or time to listen to their recordings coz I eventually delete unwanted ones. Have no guilt or fear if you record calls, just turn on that god damn recording

Call Recording should be 8nbuilt and comes in Samsung Android devices and some other devices. From Android 9 and above, you can't install and use an app from Playstore to record calls. If a app promises that, it requires root. So be aware. Check before you buy if call recording is something you want.
