I use the larger iPad Pro M1 for school. As an engineering grad student who does all of my assignments and notes on the iPad, I really appreciate the larger screen size compared to my previous iPad Air. It's much easier to fit all of the equations and calculations than before. Plus, I can watch the lecture videos at the same time that I'm taking notes in picture-in-picture because of the nice, roomy screen. Also, I really like Notability as my go-to app but to each his own. There are a lot of good notes apps.

I am so happy that this guy actually considers budget! Every other iPad setup video I watched just tells me to get the most expensive iPad pro, the new Apple Pencil pro, the most expensive case and keyboard, and a Paperlike screen for protector (which for anyone who doesn’t know costs $45). And I’m just sitting there thinking - what student can actually afford this?? I have an iPad Air 5 which I got last December, a simple folio case, and an Apple Pencil gen 2, and I think that is all I need in an iPad as a student. Anything beyond that, the benefits just don’t outweigh the cost for me personally.

I actually have been using the ipad 9th gen for about a year now, and i can say it helped me a lot with studying (both in highschool and my first semester of college) so I would recommend it for people looking for an iPad but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. The only downside i've found so far is the battery that really doesn't last long... you have to take break every 4/5 hours because it's overheating and consumes a lot of battery. If anyone is also worried about the Apple Pencil 1st gen, I can assure you it's not that big of a deal: a full charge lasts more than a couple of days and in not much more than 10/15 mins it will be fully charged again, so in the end i wouldn't spend the extra 50 bucks for a second gen pencil (coming from someone who tried both)
@albertoulloa229 ай бұрын
I bought my iPad 9 at the beginning of 2022 and let me tell you that the battery lasted a long time and I began to notice that as the operating system updates passed, the performance of my battery decreased noticeably, being more noticeable after installing iOS 17. So I preferred to exchange it through Apple's trade in program and now I have had the iPad 10 for a month and I am very satisfied. And it's a shame because I was delighted with my iPad 9, but planned obsolescence by technology companies sucks.

I would even go as far as to say that 90% of Apple and iPad users should only really choose between the standard iPad or iPad Air series if they want some of those extra features for those buying brand new. I think the iPad Pro is really intended only for those who are creatives or professionals who use it for enterprise or business stuff.

Good video guys. I do disagree with the argument of people being used to the phone OS, grandmas and kids etc. We're not talking about the 10th gen iPad, we're not talking about the iPad Air, we're talking about the iPad Pro, a 1000 USD+ device. It's not a device you buy for your kids or your grandma, that's what the cheaper ones are for. And you don't have to force MacOS, just offer a dual boot option very well hidden in settings for the people who do want it. Then it would also help them sell storage upgrades because two OS would take up a good amount of space. Also, I don't think the financial argument makes that much sense. Realistically speaking, most people won't buy two devices, a Mac and an iPad. That's for Apple fans and people who have money to spare. Most people want/need to save money and will only buy one of the two, and most will probably go with the Mac because it has less limitations than the iPad and therefore better bang for the buck. Now, a 13 inch MBA currently costs $999, while a similarly sized iPad Pro costs $1299, which is 30% more expensive!!! So by limiting iPadOS, Apple is getting people to buy the cheaper device, the MBA. Now, if they did allow dual booting on the iPad, they could upsell the iPad because it would be the more versatile device. And not only people would be paying $300 more for the iPad, many would then pay $350 more for the Magic Keyboard. Now we're talking $1649 TO START, with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, but many people will need more than that, so that setup could easily get to $2000 and that's not even including the Apple Pencil yet. And it wouldn't cannibalize the MBP because it's a thin and light device at the cost of less connectivity, battery life etc. People who need real Pro hardware would still buy a MBP.

hey mate are you still reading comments ? cause i have a question i know it may sound stupid but please if you can please reply. 1:- I have a budget of 50k INR / 600$ what would be the best the i pad 10th gen 64gb with the apple pencil 1 or a i pad air 5 64gb with a normal off brand stylus. I want do a little gaming , little video/photo editing, 3d sculpting/modeling(i wanna learn CAD ),and i am studying for JEE Exams. 2:- Please recommend some free alternatives of the procreate and other paid apps for the i pad, i need it as i can't spend a single penny on any application. (i will use an external storage device for the lack of storage) Thank You Your Subscriber From INDIA

My favorite iPad is iPad Pro; because I use iPad for editing my KZbin videos, making thumbnail & …; so it should be so fast and PRO👌🏻

I love mine too! But interestingly I’m feeling the benefit of maybe trying a mini for a more portable notebook these days!

Do the same with the new line-up please

Has Notion fixed the issues with iPad yet? Frustrating I can’t move blocks with the pencil.
@BetterCreating11 ай бұрын
Notion’s mobile apps are more limited than the desktop due to being touch /iOS apps, and not on mouse pointer etc. shame we can’t move blocks or adjust columns etc: but tbh: I prefer editing the system on desktop and just dropping info in or reading it on mobile. :(
