Just keep in mind you won't have a track pad or the creature comforts of the Apple pencil gen 2. The 1 is a pain to charge and often loses charge without being used, speaking from experience lol. I'd suggest you get a logitech Crayon or any other pencil alternative :)

Sold my ipad air 4 256GB for ipad mini 6 256GB for portability. Ipad air performance is well and good but is heavier than my m2 air with an additional keyboard, I found myself reading ebooks more with just the right size of ipad for my small hands. If i would use a larger screen i’d just go with an actual large monitor. As of date the ipad cannot replace the multi tasking things i do in a laptop. Just my two cents.

@@mrtoasticles7144 it helps you organise your Tasks as you can make notes for your homework and use an ap like goodnote or collanotes where you can organise your stuff so you cant lose any notes or sheets which was a big problem for me before i startet using the ipad. As my first apple product, i had a good experience with it. The only thing i cant recomment is the keyboard apple build for it.

@@yogeshmohandoss there is a version of office for the Ipad, but Apps like onenote dont work really and wort is very limited, you still need a PC for the most stuff, but it works good enough for school.

Great review, just one thing I'd like to say: for most people 64GB of storage just won't be enough and for those the 128GB iPadPro is a better upgrade than the 256GB iPad Air, because it offers a lot more value for only 50$ more , like a better and more future proof processor, twice the RAM, a better and brighter screen with 120hz, "studio" microphone and speakers and the list goes on. So if you already know 64GB ain't gonna cut it you should really consider the Pro

As a student, who focuses on handwritten notes like you, I find the Logitech Smart Folio a way better option than the apple keyboard case. That is because of The detachable keyboard, while maintaining protection due to its design, unlike apple’s keyboard. It also has a kickstand, and it is cheaper. For a student, I think of the Logitech Smart Folio far superior to the apple keyboard case. Ofcourse, apple’s keyboard case is great, but it would be better in different scenarios.

There are only three scenarios where id recommend the pro: 1. If you need the power (nearly no one does) 2. If you need more than 128 GB space but not 256 GB (11" pro base-model costs nearly as much as the 256GB Air) 3. The big screen on the 12"9. Ist great for drawing and note-taking or if you want to use it instead of a laptop

I am very worried that the whole screen might F-ed up because of detecting my palm instead of the pen. Palm rejection works impeccably well in almost all apps and while taking notes. Just make sure in the settings of whatever app is being used, it will only interpret writing from pen and not hand. * U can still scroll as normal so don't worry about that

Great video, but don’t get me wrong, matte screen protectors remove all the brightness of the original screen and it sucks to slide your fingers through. And since iPad is a touchable device, I don't see any reason to buy this keyboard instead of buying a MacBook at once. If you want a notebook don't buy a tablet, like WTF???

Taking notes on pc is definitely much better than writting, what’s the difference between taking it by hand on iPad or on paper? No sense The reason why you change the way of taking notes from paper to digital is because the time, so iPad is being the same than paper…

Hey, Andres! I really like your videos, ideas, cinematics and tech stuff. My personal recommendation is to keep a good balance when it comes to recommend stuff. I mean, from 30+ years it comes a time when you realize you dont need all that tech stuff to do great things or to feel great. So dont be too "serious" when it comes to things that are nice to use, but not a necessity. Keep up the good work! :)

It's not only "nice" as you say, it's a game changer. I have been using paper my whole life, and using the iPad Pro for note taking, sharing notes, and uploading assignments cuts down the inconveniences of using paper significantly. If you have the money get it, but if you don't you could live without it. But again, it's about connivence and productivity, not about having nice techy things for the hell of it.

Also I bought the new iPad Pro for handwriting and it quite frankly sucks, the KZbinrs/Instagrammers make it out to be much better than it is. My advice is to skip the iPad and buy a MacBook

I got the magic keyboard case but I hate the fact that you have to remove it from the case if you want to write on it flat on the table. You lose the protection the case gives you when you do this. I think I'm going to replace it with the Logitech keyboard touch folio case because you can fold it back on itself.

Im searching for an ipad to mainly take notes. I have an Laptop and also a second monitor for it but i just want all my notes digital, so i can find them easy and just dont have such a mess. You can also use one note with part of microsoft from school for free. Worked great for me and I could even pull it up on any computer if i somehow didnt have my ipad for class.

I am getting an iPad at the end of this year (hopefully). I’m going to get used iPad Pro (2018 or 2020) and with a lot of storage. Because I want to have a lot of internal storage to future proof it. I’d use it for school. And basically for everything. It going to be my workstation.

I wouldn’t get the iPad Air because it’s pretty expensive in my country (brand new). And every device I owned is either used or passed down from my family. I’d be passing from grade 9 to 10 at the end of the year. And my dad promised me that he’ll pay for it. So I need to make a right choice and future proof it ( with a lot of storage). Because I ain’t getting another new (used)device until I get a job. But I am really excited to get it. I just have like 2 months left before the big exam.

At this point i'd continue my studies just to have a reason to use an ipad lol.I dont like small devices,so i would probabaly go for the pro 13 inch or the smaller one,as i already have a 10.4 inch tablet and honestly i could never go to a smaller tablet size.

first of all i dont think the ipad youre using is the 2020 version. its the 2018 ipad pro 11 version.and personally the ipad air 4 is way better because it is an 10.9 inch has a good battery and the same features in a pro and is half the price.second of all we only need ipad for notes mostly, i personally use for digital drawing.ALTHOUGH great vid tho.

I use surface pro 7 with windows11 vs my friend that using IPad PRO M1 You know what thing I can do on on my surface with Windows 11 is can't be done on IPad like run Visual studio 2022, Visual code, After effect, Fusion 360and a lot more my friend said My surface can do everything that his IPad can do + It still have extra features that IPad can't be done. All my friend that use IPad they said they going to buy surface next time. even Apple have new feature call universal control that you can use your IPad to control your Macbook otherwise On surface already have this feature like 1 year already that you can you use surface to control or be the second for your windows pc or laptop. If you taking about app on surface as I use windows11 (it also work on windows 10) Microsoft have more app than the past(developer now start to publish app on Microsoft Store) (Windows11 app +Android app) it have more useful app and I can install some app as PWA from broswer too or some like PC software you can also install and use on surface.

Is Notability better than GoodNote he mentions? Personally, I just like the recording function that Notability has. I’m planning on buying an iPad Air 5th gen sometime for school since I currently take notes by hand and spent an embarrassing amount of money from FedEx to printout my lecture notes

The paperlike screenprotector does damage your apple pencil tho... If there's any extra friction using it, it will wear down the tip of the pencil quicker. This is just basic physics.

I just recently bought the iPad 9th Gen and I am wondering if should opt for the apple pencil or not to take notes.. I dont know if the apple pencil 1st gen feels smooth so I would like so opinions from ppl as well,,, Besides if I shouldn't what do u think are good note-taking apps for me as well

for normal note-taking is nearly no difference between the two. The biggest feature of the 2nd is the tilt but that doesnt matter there. So, if you want to handwrite your notes, buy it

@@alexiaramirez7367 I think it majorly depends on two things. What you're planning to do in the future, and what your budget is now. I ended up going with the 128gb since I'm going into computer science which means chances are, I'll be needing to keep my notes or work somewhere after college. Also, I like doing graphic design and photo editing on the side as a hobby so getting the larger storage one just made more sense. If you have the extra money, get the higher storage one, but if you only really plan to use it for school the 64gb one is completely fine. If anything, you can sell either one to get your money back after you graduate.
