Interesting chap for sure, look forward to seeing the rest of these. That first answer though, certainly was a very genuine legitimate product that added to the landscape... and then premium charge and the sportsbook came along. I suspect he isn't quite so proud of that bit, still, everyone has their price and I can't fault him for cashing out.

i gt the feeling tht profitable bettors on bf put up with premium charge, as thy knw thy dnt have to pay taxes on profits and if there looking 4 a similar money changing gig thy will have to play in a even bigger pond and face th likes of bridge water and goldman....its all relative end of the day

I remember him being interviewed on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on Radio 2 when first launched ! Imagine a bookie being promoted like that on radio these days. That's how innovative if was back then.
