Very good interview. I've been a member of Hunting For Profit more or less since Matt created the group. He's a great mentor, he gives you a daily watch-list and he's in the private members' Skype rooms during live trading sessions, helping members with invaluable information and critiques of trades . His door is always open so you can discuss your trading journey both through the ups and downs. It's a fantastic service run by a top guy and there's some really good people in the group.

It was a pleasure to be asked to do this, meet Simon in person and talk about my betting/ trading journey.

@@paulrichards6894 as I said in this interview I take my hat off to anyone that makes a living straight backing. I find trading in-play much easier, I have lost count the amount of times a horse I have traded runs really well but does not win.

@@HuntingforProfit because i only bet essentially in good races i have few bets so i have tried trading but failed miserably so i stay away from that....leave it to the experts

@@paulrichards6894 yes there are ways like generating more commission via automation using a break even system but eventually it catches up with you

Brilliant Interview. There are a few very well known horse racing traders who sell courses and software on how to trade order flow. Its 99% bollocks. They are just bringing mugs into the game who don't have a clue. You need to the know the true odds of the horse you are trading to stand a chance. They will never tell you that though. They complain about shills but they are the worse kind of shills because they actually make regular punters believe they can make a living at it. I was one of those mugs. I bought a well known traders course, and I just scratched my head after going through the whole thing as it never really told you anything concrete, just one big ego boost for the seller. Only when I truly learned how to study and analyze racing from the ground up could I trade. Trading order flow is nonsense, smoke and mirrors and it take you straight to the poor house.

To make a living ‘in-running’ at home with an x second delay is fantastic.
