Do one more video about the Aviator.. When you don't play you see winning numbers in PURPLE and PINK, but when you place a series of bets in a row, you keep losing at 1.00x to less than 1.50x. When you run out of cash or pause, the winning number returns. And below, you see other users cashing out thousands. And the cycle continues when you deposit and place bets. Are the user below the bet real or is just an auto that cranks up numbers? Does the win reflect with other users?

He spent thousands on hotels, and dinners just to come back to gamble..casinos that he made really good money at he was sometimes not able or welcome to gamble in those casinos again due to accusations of cheating
@FrankTaeger20213 жыл бұрын
@👑 Value At that point a smart Casino system will likely scan your cards over the video feed and calculate your odds ratio. A few statistical tests can be run every time you play a hand, increasing the accuracy of a bet whether your play style is natural or cheating. The more hands you play, the more likely your "odd" way of winning and losing will look. You would have to basically automate your losings through an RNG to beat that, which would most likely defeat the purpose of your winnings completely.

@👑 Value It's random, yes but due to the zero your odds of winning are less than 50% on red and black, but if you win you only double your bet. Your still gambling, its still about luck but the probability to lose is 51,4%, which is a lot better than other games like slot.

I see the lives it destroys. What it does to people. Late nights you see the people sleeping on machines or the rampant drug use. I take as much out as I can and try to help people with the lucrative money outside of the casino. It's the devils house for sure. 99.99% of the players will lose in the long run and a good chunk will destroy their lives.
@nickmeyer2383 жыл бұрын
@👑 Value Yep yep. There are many ways to gain an edge but very few can make a living and they don't last forever. A good casino promotion if done right can be EV+. But you have to be willing to cash out and leave when the odds aren't in your favor. Some casinos have bad marketing departments and give out comps to new players that can make some easy money. Vegas used to be really good when they weren't all owned by a few big companies. Free $20 here. $20 there. Next casino. But yeah it's a job. It's not fun. It's a grind. If I'm not somewhat buzzed or don't have a podcast I don't even bother. I'd rather watch paint dry.

You name It, she saw it and she never ever once even played 5 bucks on a slot machine. 41 years of stories in those casinos and how they operate. Everything this guy is saying is absolutely true. They are built to take your money. Period. The one good thing about growing up around casinos is I also have seen a lot and I also know how they operate. I never got into gambling. But I did try it one time. I remember one time I played a craps game with 300 bucks and walked out with 5k..! I remember the feeling I got. I felt on top of the world and I remember that whole week I couldn’t wait to go back and try it again . The next pay period I tried it again and I ended up losing my entire paycheck. I remember that was my car payment I lost too and man it was a shitty feeling..! That was over 15 years ago and since then I leaned my lesson. I’ve NEVER gambled again since and never will. But that addicting feeling I got I’ll never forget and I understand how that happens. My advice, stay away from the casinos. They’re built to take your money. I'm not a gambler but I do occasionally play poker locally (not in casinos or online). I'm curious to know why, in your example of that person taking mortgage out to fund his gambling addiction, you think that the problem lies with the company? Sure, I don't deny that gambling companies have their own agenda like maximizing profits and they're not angels by any means but when will people start taking personal responsibility for their actions? It baffles me when people like to divide themselves from "evil" humans while they fail to realize that they're a part of our species. Most humans try to maximize their gain, be it financial or emotional. It's incredibly selfish and ignorant to keep putting all of the blame on companies that are nothing more that a corporate gathering of people like you and I. Certainly, it's not the gambling industry that is causing the following human behaviour: - constant need of more money to fund your personal desires - constant day dreaming of a better life - unwillingness to educate oneself - lack of personal responsibility (its always someone else to blame for your misfortunes) Gambling industry must definitely be regulated to minimize money laundering and fraud but consumers also must educate themselves and take responsibility for their decisions. It's really hard to feel sorry for people that deliberately ruin their own lives just to start blaming someone else for their decision.

@@divx1001 I agree with you about the personal responsibility thing.. But the casino spots a weakness in humans, and acts in a predatory manner, in order to exploit them and gain money.
@xx-wp3mq3 жыл бұрын
@@divx1001 The thing is, you don't know what pushes someone to make that first bet. Most people are aware of the house advantage, but it's mostly a case of chasing losses. The industry has some responsibility for its consumers, and most of the help is just a front. Online companies will target those individuals who have lost a massive amount of money and pray on the vulnerable; you probably can't empathise because I'm guessing you've not been in a position where you're having to bet more than you can afford to lose to put bread on the table - this is common with those impoverished, I don't particularly think it's okay to say they're the "blame" when the possibility of a better life is dangled in front of their face constantly through aggressive advertisement campaigns (it's more of a gray area, in my opinion). Humans are in-perfect by nature, and this emotion and desire to chase the unicorn can end up manifesting in even the most 'level-headed' individuals. In the case you pointed out - casinos should warn players that they're betting substantial amounts and take precautions to stop them from bankrupting themselves. Are you saying as a business owner the only reason you'd care about a consumer of your product committing suicide is the fact that you'd lose a customer? Yes. To some extent, people need to self-reflect on compulsive vices but this is the sort of consumer that casinos want - those who have nowhere else to turn, and they'll gut the vulnerable for all their worth. It's like putting a beer in front of an alcoholic and saying: "well, I didn't make him drink it, so it's entirely his fault".

A dopamine hit unlike any other. It's easy to see how this can become an addiction because it's a unique high that you want to experience again. It doesn't matter what the odds are, having the smallest chance to win is enough to get people addicted.

I started borrowing friends money to bet and still lost an worst I had accumulated more debt now. The worst came when I started selling my house items to bet . I remember even one day I did use money that was meant for dinner on betting and lost and slept hungry . It was very very severe for me that I would just cry all night. Luckily with the help of my bro , I recovered from gambling and stopped completely. I came to realize that the probability of making quick money in gambling is next to zero . He steals my dad's clients car parts to sell ( dad is an automobile engineer) he have borrowed money from neighbors and my dads clients and ran away from home so many times to gamble. He always comes back begging to never gamble again we forgive him always. He graduated to emptying my dads account multiple times and running away to gamble. He wrecked my dad. I myself have tried helping him to replace what my dad lost. The latest now is that he sold my dads clients car and also sold another engine and ran away with the money. My dad have been arrested 2wice because of him and the case is still ongoing, nobody even knows where he is. The family is in debt because of him. He himself is still owing thousands of dollars to loan companies. We are not even taking about how much he steals from the family. As of now he is missing. Only God knows how he must have blown the money he ran away with in gambling. I could never had believed that a chronic gambler will come from my family. It is heart breaking.

I am one of those gamblers with an elite status. Make sure I pay myself and bills 1st, use only my entertainment money to gamble. However I put myself at risk and learned the hard way as a young single before I got to this point. Even though I started out with a lack of interest in gambling, it's so easy to go a little crazy after a winning streak. Once you reach the highest tier and status you get a lot of free play, with enough luck don't need to spend your own money. All gamblers know that when you get greedy you lose, when you need the money you lose, when you look for a way out you lose or the odds are not usually in your favor. A few of us can run on luck or make big wins that usually we just break even and lose more than we win. My status is based on a lot of luck because I definitely didn't have 100,000 + to be playing with or throwing away. Once gambling becomes no fun, that's when a person should give up, the key is to not spend more than you can afford to lose. Easily at the top for life-ruining & dangerous addictions because it often remains hidden until a person is in financial ruin & debt & or their family is, I've met these people. I have experienced both sides of the spectrum, the lows and highs of what it means to be a gambler. A casino is similar to the Hotel California, ''you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave.'' When you make $4,000 in a couple of minutes and think that is nothing, you realize how the casino changes your perspective about the value of a dollar. You're winning goal goes up and up!
@Opryzl012 жыл бұрын
Couldn’t agree more about how it desensitises you to the value of money. I’m a gambling addict and only get paid £1000 a month, and recently I won £5000 on slots but wasn’t as happy as I should of been looking back now, probably because I knew all of that money would be gone by the end of the day (which it was) One of the worst things about gambling for me is winning big but then loosing all of the money you won, and just the horrible feeling of guilt and regret and thinking about what you could of done with the money and how you needed it. It’s the worst addiction
@LuxMeow2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's like a temporary insanity and then you do it all over again to make up for your loss but lose instead. I know what it's like to lose about 10gs at once and then win it back and lose it again. So at that point it doesn't even matter if you are lucky if you are walking away with nothing or less than you came in with. That's when you know you have to just do what you have to do to take a break and try to reset your mind from fast cash. The irony is if you put all that cash into a high interest savings account instead of the casino, you will eventually get out of debt. I guess it helps to know what drives your addiction in order to derail it. Make it as hard as possible to keep taking out money. Set a daily likit and ask that your bank work with you, you can also try self exclusion but I have literally seen people searching how to get around that. So yeah it's gotta be the most life ruining addiction to have because money is freedom and debt is a heavy weight on your shoulders but there is always a way out when you are ready. You may slip a bit before it gets better. Either way I totally get where you are coming from. It's a hell of it's own.

Reminds me when i was in in vegas for a bachelor party. I had no urge to gamble the entire time i was there. I bought a cheese pretzel at the airport, sat down at a slot machine to eat it. I remember I went to Vegas, I talked to locals. He said the best casinos to go win is the ones away from the strip. With that being said, he said it doesn't matter if you have a hot hand, if you notice that you won more than your share. Leave the table and stop gambling immediately. He said they will take it back and then sum, leave and don't stick around. If you want go to another casino, or wait a couple of days but don't bet what you won. I realized it once, a man came with 5k and he spent 4k before he won 8k. We all told him to go, to leave and enjoy Vegas without gambling. He said he was going to dou le his money, he spent his 8k and an extra 2k. Me and my wife won 300 and stepped away, we have never seen a man so defeated before.

I am banned from two casinos in Atlantic City, NJ for winning at blackjack. I didn't win a lot. In each case it was maybe $2-3,000 that I was up before they made me leave. Both times they came to me and asked me to leave and told me that I was banned from coming back because they thought I was counting cards, which is not even cheating and it's not what I was doing. All I was doing was doubling my loss. If I lost $10 I'd bet $20 and so on. It is not a great strategy and is actually statistically a bad one but it worked for me.

When I lost I paid him, and when he lost he paid ...at first. After losing a couple times he decided he didn't want to pay me anymore and would rather try to intimidate and fight me over it instead of pay. My gambling career ended at 12. My other life lesson I took at a young age was working the grill at Sonic as a 16 year old making $5.15/hr and being told to work 2 hours at lunch, go home for a few hours then come back and work 2 hours at dinner tying up my whole Saturday for $20 in my pocket. I thought he was going to take me to meet the bookie but he took me and we sat on the seat over the road and watched about 5 or 6 customers go in the bookies and my grandad said that’s who paid for the Rolls Royce because the bookie always comes out on top because even when someone backs a winner there’s a load who bet money and never won.
