ALSO I completely agree with what you said about barchie not being over. There’s still so much unfinished business with them. I’ve listened to the song he wrote her a couple times now and I realized that he was basically asking her to take a chance on him/them. That this thing between them felt right. That part where she stops him from playing the song always breaks my hurt knowing what’s coming. I think she just got scared remembering how much it hurt her the first time when she put herself out there and told him how she felt and he rejected her. She wasn’t ready to risk it all like he was. Last time Betty was ready and he wasn’t. Now Archie is the one that’s ready but she’s not. She’ll always be IN love with him though no matter what or who she’s with. Now that Archie has realized his true feelings for Betty and how deep they run he’ll always be IN love with her too. It’s why he made that choice to leave riverdale and join the Navy academy. I have faith they’ll eventually find their way back to each other. As Brooke Davis from OTH once said “when people are meant to be together they always find their way in the end.” #BarchieSeason5

@@lorrigron there's no denial that he's completely in love with her but I totally understand why she back off. I honestly think what happened between them in those episodes is a teaser for the next season. I hope I'm right and that they'll own season 5. My best theory is that when archie leaves for the navy Betty will realise she's loosing him and that's she's still in love him but she will do nothing because she still afraid. And that's where the time jump 5 years if I'm not wrong comes and they will still love each other more than before and that's such a good slow burn excellence. Thank you for liking my video. I read a comment on another ,,Betty & Archie‘‘ ship video that said Betty and Archie are not coming together in season five because Riverdale producers are afraid that many Varchie and Bughead shippers will stop watching Riverdale when they become a couple, but I think they would lose more viewers if they won‘t get together and Varchie and Bughead stay.

I don't think the writers are afraid of the fans. I think they'll continue with the barchie story and they said so because also a big part of the audience wants to see them so it'll be wonderful to watch and fans can't have always what they want and hey it's a teen drama after all
