Thanks for putting this up! So great to see Betty in this underdocumented period of her career. She once said she really took her concept up to the next level when she started holding the mike in her hand instead of standing in front of the mike stand. This would have been shortly before that move, I guess. Absolutely brilliant performance, especially the interactions with the alto player at the end.

Trying too hard to be "avant garde". This lady seems to have missed the whole point of what singing is all about. Such grotesque so called "instrumentalize" singing. If you're going to subject your voice through such histrionics, might as well learn how play a true instrument.
