The KJV uses the term 4x & in all other instances used the term LORD in all caps for the NAME of God (the tetragrammaton YHWH commonly referred to as "Yahweh." The name Jesus means "Jehovah saves" and that is what Jesus came to do. The Hebrew for Lord was "Adonai" and "Elohim" for the word God. In Greek the word was" Kyrios" and in Latin it was "Dominus." The Jewish letter Y has a "j" sound and the W has a "v" sound. Add the missing vowels and you ended up with the name "Jehovah."

@whosazso No one knows how YHWH is pronounced actually. Yahweh is closer for sure but I like the more incorrect Jehovah just as well. I personally think they serve the same purpose. Any honest Christian would probably agree...

@bresnof If you're asking a Trinitarian, the answer would be that they are the same God but are different within the Godhead. Are you one of Jehovah's Witness by any chance? Cheers...
