It's Allen. Check the GSN Live celebration of Allen Ludden...Betty is there. The man who made up Password in his head said after the first show Betty did which was the third one that aired in 1961, Allen went back stage to him & said I'm gonna marry that woman. They did summer stock together & fell in love. It's a beautiful love story.

Misinformation. She had a tumultuous relationship with one of the kids, as she was a teen and missed her mother. She has a great relationship with the other two abd reconciled with the third later in life

@@valentinr.dominguez2892 Allen was good to Betty's mom. Every year on Betty's birthday, he'd send her mom Tess a gift. He would tell her Hi doll when he would come out to do Password. Betty's dad died later in 1963 the same year Betty & Allen were married.
