It’s not even just the other teams comp, rivals too. With Ymir or geb instead of fafnir it would have been perfect. Thor walls and whirlpool krakens to help lock people down in that Ah Puch damage. Plus Ymir or geb would add to that and help keep Ah Puch alive better than faf. The commentators mentioned that they needed more frontline but Thor should have built more tankiness. Thor’s damage is decent but late game he’s more useful as a cc and wall machine, especially when you have a second mage that is Ah Puch to do aoe dmg in team fights. Idk tho I’m not a pro. Deathwalker seemed to have thought of it last pick (probably based on what we said). If they were to pick around the Ah Puch it would have been bettee

How about the time we saw someone go Apollo solo and it worked a charm, they used him to blink, 2, and kept his dash to get out. It might have been season 3, I think I remember seeing fire creeps. It ruined ranked for a solid month because everyone went Apollo solo.

Ah puch's big strength is his pole damage but dw didn't build any antihealing against all those sustain gods. Kind of a throw if you ask me

You can say anything about ah ouch but if wolfy would've been doing damage they could've won that game. You saw krakens actually healing players instead of bursting like it is supposed to do. Also rip meditation, this was back then when it was actually useful that you usually see it in the spl before the nerf.
