I am glad Hell on Wheels had this story line. I was explaining to my son, that was the attraction between the two people. One had been a slave on a plantation the other was a slave to Indians. It was like two people liked sports. It was a teaching moment.

A little explored area of history, another great story is that of Daniel Boone. All these people should have been given the choice of where they wanted to be. Thanks Ms. Kitty! I'd have been thankful for the chance to be adopted !
