Wow... the progression that Onyx has shown from the first time in the mod is amazing... from the first time running at the back at the start of the year to leading and driving out of a shitty situation is awesome He should be proud of the way he handled himself on the track, being around racing for years he definitely read that perfectly... I too wonder how people make such poor decisions in a race car not thinking of their own safety let alone everyone elses... Onyx has a very bright racing career ahead of himself!!!

As someone who was part of the pit crew for 6 years for a couple friends, I know exactly how you guys feel. Onyx drove the hell outta that car and should be proud of that. Like you said Zach, racing can be a humbling sport. Best thing is to never get discouraged. There is always another race. He did what he had to do. His reaction time was excellent. Unfortunate he boogered up the car, but that’s far better than how that could’ve ended. Stay safe guys.

VERY commendable bit of driving by the young man. As stated in the video, if Onix had have driller the other driver it would have been so much worse. The other drivers crew member, the one who call him in, needs to shown that it was not the call to make. The driver, with limited vision, just did what the crew member said and probably thought it was safe to cross. As a Dad of a racer, I feel your pain.

Onyx, you made the right call. If you had not reacted the way you did, there for sure could have been serious injuries for the other driver. Cars can be fixed/replaced, people cant. You have a smart head on your shoulders, and obviously know when to wreck the car to avoid injuries, Keep it up and you will be doing better than your dad in no time. I cant wait to see both of you in the same race, a father son duel on dirt is some of the best racing there is.

Zach, I love watching your videos from here in Sydney, Australia. I've been following you guys for a while now and really enjoy watching you both but especially you, Onyx. you ran a superb race until that idiot put you out of it. I hope he gets penalised for it. I would have thought that a lapped car would have to give way to the lapping car but people do stupid things in the heat of the moment. You also answered one of my questions, Zach, I've been meaning to ask for a while and that is whether Onyx is racing agains others his age or against adults and I now know that is it against adults, which makes your performance, Onyx, even more remarkable. Also, the way you were able to make that split second decision to do what you did to avoid injuring the other guy was amazing. Keep up the great work, Onyx, you are certianly marvelous to watch on the track as well as back on the farm driving the big machinery. Keep up the great work, both of you. Remember that it isn"t whether you win or loose, it's how you play the game and, Onyx, you played it perfectly.
