I walked by the bugler booth at a World of Wheels Show in the late seventies, pulling my pinstriping wagon ,watched him for a couple of minutes, then told him that I was at the show pinstriping vehicles and motorcycles, he then replied “ I can make any line that you can make with a brush” I said “really?” “Bet you can’t” and got my brush wet, and did one of my scroll designs on his practice board , to which he (the head of Bugler) and the Grandson of the developer said “ Well guess I’ll never say that again” very nice man, great tool for production work, friend ,Gary Jensen used one for years and did demos with it for the company.

Just won one of these on a bid in eBay. After watching this video, I am glad I now own one and excited to start using it. It was very informative also. I felt it covered all the basics and then some. Was kinda like watching that tv show 'How it's made'.

Great vlog thanks for posting and sharing with us. I had one of the “other” brands and types of pinstriping wheels. It wasn’t the precision instrument of the Beugler.

I bought one of those about 30 years ago and used it once. It was a mess trying to get the paint the right consistency so it wouldn't just run out all over and getting it so it would have enough flow to do a long line. It's been collecting dust since I use brushes now!

I used one of these things to stripe my first car 42 years ago. At that point in time, for me, it turned out OK. Later on I started using a brush. Being able to do your own striping is cool. It takes a lot of practice but looks great when you are done.

When I was on the road show circuit I’ve averaged $500. An hour ,35 shows a year for 18 years, and yes I did stripe my own vehicles too, had show stuff,we had an Arizona version of Artistry in iron ,I got peoples choice and First trophies, all polished and engraved motor, hand carved and stitched leather seat, a paint job that nobody had ever seen before, but I looked like a Gorilla humping a football, I’m trying to pick up a rat bike that I can screw with, electric start .,shocks apes, extended wide glide, and a killer paint job and saddle ….looking

I have a large and small one since late 70's. Used them a few times and even though I haven't practiced much, had awesome results. Plan to start using them again in the near future.

Pretty wild tool. A buddy of mine gave me one of these along with some pin stripping brushes. Ive never used it but at least now I know how. Would def be a very useful tool for someone that doesn't have the steadiness they once had

I've had one of these tools for years and have been scared of it! Now I know where to start.

Had one of these for a while. Works great as shown, on nearly flat surfaces, but no good on surfaces that are significantly curved across the width of the wheel, the point of contact with the wheel varies in width and so does the finished line. Am I missing something?

For Striping you could also use Pin Striping Tape.

Useless. 40 seconds of unrelated intro (longer than some TV shows), then a lot of general blather, then a distant fuzzy shot of someone using the device at a trade show. This video could be used in a how-to video on how not to post a video.
