Countless times I have set up for a timelapse, started it, then the clouds have moved, or the light has changed spots, so had to change composition. Glad I am not the only one who does that :) That light is great too!

yep know the feeling so well, it helps to have a second setup for those moments - but I'm down to one body these days until I can somehow scrape some capital together again.

Beautiful light on that cumulus. I really miss cumulus, we haven't had much of it recently here in the south of England :( Did I get this right, you live at Lake Taupō? Looks like a lovely area. Shame about the camera issues, hope you get that sorted out. You could try reformatting the card, maybe? Is it CF or SD?

Yes I guess reformatting would be worth a shot if the issue really is file transfer. Sandisk CF express 1200mb/s write speed. It was a rare fine break from the wet winter weather we have lately but we have some good weather forecast for the next few days so hope to get out again. Yes Lake Taupo, NZ.

That’s such a bastard about the camera. Definitely a bloody shame considering the weather we’ve been having 🤷‍♂️
