Love your work. I'm an occasional watcher so I guess you have been explaining this a thousand times but why do you use PU glue on indoor projects?
@BradshawJoinery5 ай бұрын
Speed and strength basically. Its easy to work with too i find.

Was one of the doors put together with the chamfer on the outside. Wish I had a pound for every cabinet door I've made in my time. For painted door, I went over to Finsa, Hydrafugo, moisture resistant mdf.
@BradshawJoinery5 ай бұрын
On the rails probably, they were alot wider than needed, so i did a few test cuts on the bit to be cut off to make sure the jig and setup was good. Cut it off later ont he panel saw

Now I'm curious on what hinges you are using , I've never had the need to bevel my doors. On that note, Blum is standard here but we do have a Grass distributor and I have to say I prefer the grass components a hair more, have you tried them?
@BradshawJoinery5 ай бұрын
I use Blum if I do that type of work, but always do solid timber and butt hinges. Proper cabinetry 😜, these are 27mm thick so need the leading edge

Hi, does it take long to learn how to use Sketchup and is it suitable for doing kitchen 3D drawings? Keep up the good work.
@BradshawJoinery5 ай бұрын
its a long learnign process you will never stop tbh! I think its great but youll need a decent amount of time to create a catalogue of components to make it efficient. If they are standard kitchens your working with might be best to looks for software more suitable. Bespoke kitchens its great.

Thank you - now understand why the cupboard doors I inherited, are difficult to open and close.

Often overlooked part of a job.

@@BradshawJoinery What degree of leading edge did you apply Oliver? Was it three degrees?
@BradshawJoinery5 ай бұрын
@@Toyotaamazon80series I think so yeah! You can work it out by drawing it outand measuring if not sure but 3 degrees is usually more than enough
@Toyotaamazon80series5 ай бұрын
@@BradshawJoinery That's what I normally apply. Trend have a 3° leading edge cutter for a router, have you tried it?
@BradshawJoinery5 ай бұрын
@@Toyotaamazon80series I haven't, I'm pretty cautious when it comes to routering near the end of a project. Bearings leave a dent in the wood, splitting etc. it would be a great bit for hardwood doors like fire doors etc though
