Lol, like for a lot of her songs, there seem to be multiple backstories but I like the new one I recently found out about and it's oddly made me appreciate the song more now. I never really had much of an opinion on it, I liked it enough but now knowing that backstory, I understand it more.

My favourite album, period. 25 is fabulous, too, don't get me wrong. But with 19, she had a relatively low budget, so she had to be really creative and take some big risks that really paid off. 21 is the album that shot her to mega stardom, but for some reason that's the only album of hers usually gathering dust on my shelves. But I do love that one, as well. At least once every six months I dust it off and hide under a warm blanket and listen to it with nostalgia. Btw, _Make You Feel My Love_ is a Bob Dylan cover. I sense a kindred spirit in you. I enjoyed your reactions to Adele's 19 album immensely. I'm definitely looking forward to more of your Adele reactions.

Make You Feel My Love" is a song written by Bob Dylan for his 1997 album Time Out of Mind. It was first released commercially by Billy Joel, under the title "To Make You Feel My Love", before Dylan's version appeared later that same year. It has since been covered by numerous performers and has proved to be a commercial success for singers such as Clare Dunn, Adele, Garth Brooks, Shane Filan, Bryan Ferry, Kelly Clarkson, Ane Brun and Nick Knowles. In my opinion, Adele’s version captures the spirit of the song. It possesses the innocence, the sadness, and the unconditional love. ❤️❤️❤️ Adele made it her song

Oh man, this is a throwback!! Make You Feel My Love was one of the first songs of Adele's that I heard, it was HUGE back in 2010 in the UK. It was the first song I performed when I joined my school choir and so is always connected to my own singing journey, and so is extra special to me. I had heard 'chasing pavements' and 'hometown glory' from a friend before who had adored the Hometown EP, but MYFML was the first time I paid attention to Adele's name. Then 21 dropped and the world went WILD for Adele!! One of my favourite albums to this day, so many memories attached to that album and that time period. 2011 was such a buzzing time to be in the UK: the Olympics were just around the corner, Ed Sheeran had also just come onto the scene, the 2011 BRIT performances were just perfection. Can't wait for you to react to them once you've listened to 21! And the Carpool Karaoke after you've listened to 25. Also if you liked Tired, I would recommend listening to early Lily Allen, similar vibes. And of course, Daydreamer and some later songs are very similar to the late great Amy Winehouse, who you should definitely listen to!! You'll love her, such power and old soul in such a rich lower register, sadly taken too soon from us. And of course, another Brit school alum, whose fame in the mid 00s influenced Adele, just as she has now in turn influenced the likes of Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo

I'd love to see you react to Delta Goodrem. She in insanely talented Aussie who dropped her first album in 2003 at the age of 18. So excited for you to enjoy this album for the first time! The first time I listened to 19 was when the album released in the UK but I was a kid living stateside so my friends from camp who were English literally Skype share-screened the album with me at like 2 AM and we used to practice doing the Chasing Pavements music video when we were together in the Summer. To this day, I have the CD, and I play it every year. Loved Adele's music ever since but 19 is my favourite of her albums. Still have the most fun singing to it! Excellent analysis and I hope you have an awesome experience with all your next listens :)

He said that he was going to do a review of his other albums, starting with "Mansion" the following week, so I subscribed (I knew that he'd love a lot of the songs along the way, but that he would be absolutely blown away when he did "The Search" album) ... that was over 4 months ago 😕

Uh ooooh the Adelecalypse about to take Beveraggi's soul. What you get from Adele is a formula. First singles tend to have similar feels & moods. She then varies her follow ups. Her zone sonically are in the Soul, Country, Folk, Pop, Blues genres. Her art is in the depth of her content and vocal delivery (which grows in each era) ..

After you finish 19,21, and 25, I recommend checking out her Carpool Karaoke with James Corden for two reasons. 1. She's incredible live but hearing how well she can belt INSIDE A MOVING CAR is just phenomenal. 2. Her personality is just so normal. She's hilarious and genuine and a complete potty mouth 🤣. I saw her live in a small performance at the Roxy in L.A. just before 19 was released. She was barefoot in her tights and just killing it. I've seen her tour for every album since and she has not changed. Despite her stratospheric success, she's still just a very real and great person. Her albums are titled after the age she was when they were written and it's funny that the new album is 30 because I believe she planned 25 to be the last one after her age as sort of a trilogy. But I think 30 will actually be the appropriate way to close this particular phase of her life.

Growing up, Adele found endless inspiration in music. Soulful icons like Etta James, Dusty Springfield, and Roberta Flack helped master her voice, while the pop smarts and streetwise attitude of '90s R&B titans like Mary J. Blige and Lauryn Hill shaped her savvy and spirit. I think they would be my suggestions to you. Also would love if you would give Lara Fabian a shot. She does music in several languages, but her voice, precence and technique is also breathtaking, especially live. Adele is into rapping aswell in her free time.. not her own lyrics, but i think it helps her aswell. 🤣 I love Adele because her spirit and her attitude too.. sooooo relatable.

I became a daydreamer when I was 6 year old. The first song I heard of her was "someone like you" what a masterpiece that hits me every single time. It has a special place in my heart: it was the first non-classical piece that I learned on the piano and I played it at my very first talent show. My all time favourite album of hers is 21. I know all the songs on it by heart and it just very special to me. I remember all the car rides where my sister and I would just scream: "don’t you remember" and "rolling in the deep". When 25 came out of course I was blown away by hello, but I did get a bit disappointed when she released more pop songs. But still 25 has some truly beautiful songs: All I ask, When we were young, Love in the dark, million years ago. Since then I own 3 piano books, 2 cds and so closely got the change to see her in concert in 2015. Adele has been the artists that resonates with me when I speak about my childhood. She has been the one artist where i truly would call myself a fan for life. I was 6 when I heard "someone like you" and although I didn't understand a single word I have grown overtime with her music. Now I am 17, its been 11 years since I discovered Adele, and I can't wait to see what 30 will be like :)
