I grew up in Arkansas, and Branson was our backyard... I loved that museum so much, that when I was a kid in the 70's.... my mom would say... Oh no, not again.... but bless her, she took me every time. It makes me sick now to see Branson, and what the grab for the all mighty dollar has destroyed. Silver Dollar City used to be in the boondocks... beautiful homes on the hills of Hwy. 76 torn down, parks plowed over.... if you had witnessed the desecration and destruction... you would be sad too.

Beverly hillbillies last season was filled at Silver Dollar City. So once they was done they just donated the car.
@LadyDragonsblood7 ай бұрын
Well, not exactly. Paul Henning and his wife, donated the truck to the museum because they knew it was the right place for it. He also bought several thousand acres to preserve the area around Shepherd of the Hills, and it is now the Ruth and Paul Henning National Forest. He fell in love with the area, and wanted to see it remain untouched. Sadly, that did not happen, but thank goodness the forest can never be torn down. Branson was my backyard... to see it now, makes me sick to my stomach... all that destruction of beautiful land, just to make money.
