It's sad that he had pancreatic cancer throughout the entire filming of this movie and we never knew. I am glad we got one final magic scene between these legends before he passed.

I mean we get that final scene of them together in the car, as if they are coming together one final time before calling it a wrap, now he has passed, the timing is just weird right? I guess the plans for Beverly Hills Cop 5 will probably be ditched now.

I don't know about anyone else, but I actually love this movie. Love that Axel and his daughter Jayne were able to reconcile at the end. That's how it's supposed to be. Seeing Axel, Billy and Taggart together again made me smile ear to ear.

I strongly suspected that John Ashton was very sick when I saw this and sure enough, a few months after this came out on Neflix, he passed away from cancer. Other movies I remember him from was "Some Kind of Wonderful" and "Midnight Run". RIP John Ashton and thanks for the memories.
