I mostly agree, it’s way better than BHC3. For the most part it could’ve been released in theaters minus a few how do we say ‘Netlix-ey,’ sorta close ups and transitions. Main issue eventhough it got addressed was Taggert not believing Rosewood in the first place. This trope has been used in GB: afterlife when Ray didn’t believe Egon etc. This isn’t necessarily an indictment on this film, but in modern films in general is the lack of great music in them. In the past you can sell a film on its potential music, and soundtracks were a thing. Now, we have to relay on the past with the soundtrack of the OG BHC to entice the fans. I’m not complaining BHC soundtrack is one of the best of that era, but kinda also shows the lack of music that all people can enjoy etc. This was certainly better than Coming 2 America. The initial talk of a sequel is classic to drive people to see it. But… they leave enough that a possible sequel could occur so let’s see….

I know what you mean. Netflix should’ve release this in theaters, but unfortunately they wanna entice potential consumers to sign up to their streaming site, and keep the members they have with new releases. Which is a bummer since films like this is best enjoyed on a theater screen during its initial release. BHC 4 is a movie that should’ve been made like 20 years ago, but unfortunately because of the disappointment of the third film they didn’t until now. Probably one of the reasons why they wanted to get viewers excited with the 4th one with the music and feel of what made the first two movies great. But either way, it’s a fun movie during a time of many crap films being made.

I was so excited for this but I was little let down. Where was Kevin Bacon in the first hour of the film? Where was Joseph Gordon Levitt? I mean Rosewood goes missing his daughter is in danger, get set up… I don’t know wh Axel wasn’t teamed up with Bobby the entire time. Just thought it kind of lagged in the middle but the action sequences were fun. It was funny, I just really really love the Tony Scott sequel and I think I was a little letdown by the directing…. Music supervisor definitely missed a great opportunity in the third act with Rosewood, Bobby and Axel. Whatever song they chose was very lackluster. Personal opinion, personal opinion, personal opinion.

Yeah the film lacked some character development with Kevin and Joseph. Seems like they just wanted to concentrate on what Axel has been up to before he made his way back to Beverly Hills. I found the old school music good, just didn’t care for the hip-hop stuff in it.

@@MidnightsEdgeAfterDark I will agree 💯, and the 3 Rd was horrible, so that shows how boring this was , Eddie was too old jokes weren't natural or funny, and is it me ,that movies don't look like cinema anymore,they seem to have a TV show film amd quality!
