Jim was too controlling with Brenda. I understand his concerns with her dating Dylan and the possibility of having sex, but he needed to lighten up a little bit. Plus he had a double standard when it came to Brandon and Brenda. Brandon could go wherever he wanted and have girls in his room, but Brenda was supposed to be a virgin for the rest of her life. So not cool!

@@kerriethompson2073 for real... remember when brandon's gf from miinesota visited she was in brandon 's room they had sex the mom was concerned by jim was like oh well but w/brenda she couldn't even have a relationship & bd were in love but jim ruined it by making dylan thik he wasn't good enough for brenda. i love how snarky brenda was w/her father about dylan brenda didn't take her dad's crap. dylan loved that about brenda cuz when brenda was gone he told val that brneda had guts she stood up to her father. brenda did she loved dylan so much n hel loved her.
