She's the girl I'd choose as my best friend. And thats all because of how Shannen played her

I'm rewatching 90210 and as an adult I see so many times when Kelly was not a good friend and always put herself first. Brenda stuck around because she was so desperate for Kelly's approval. This includes Kelly confessing that she made an effort to get Dylan's attention after he started dating Brenda. This would still hurt of course to experience, but I'm not too sure it would be all that surprising.

I recently rewatched the first four seasons and Dylan was the absolute worst even more so than Kelly but not by much. Brenda went through hell with him. His constant violent outbursts, alcoholism, his family life, him acting completely out of control. Then when his father died, had the audacity to come crying to her STILL. And then Kelly witnessing how much she struggled with him and still had no remorse for doing no what she did. It was horrible!
