She was happy and I was amused. But I was also impressed with how Luke was polite and accessible. This was in 1992, before social media empowered those who would shame stars for their arrogance. We didn't even have the world wide web yet... R.I.P., Luke. & Shannen.

He never did that to Brandon, and Brandon has gotten into more trouble than Brenda, but there was an inequality and double standard because of their sex. Even when Jim set Brenda up with Stuart in Season 4 when she was in college, Jim was flipping out because Brenda was spending too much time with him. He treated her like a baby.

The cheesy guitar riffs work way better on Melrose Place because that show only took itself half serious. I think that’s why it has aged better than 90210, which is still entertaining and I remember fondly, but is sometimes so embarrassing I feel uncomfortable. 😊❤😊❤😊

Brenda was 16 with a wealthy bf. Her parents didn't approve of Dylan. What was she supposed to do? It was the 90s. There was no sm to post her feelings to the world. Her parents really needed to take a page out of the Kris Jenner parenting manual. Kris let Kylie date Tyga for YEARS and he was much older than Kylie.
