As a nurse that does all of the prior auths for a medical clinic on top of my regular duties, I really hate to hear this. The insurance companies have turned this into such a burdensome process. I go in a full hour early and do prior auths on my own time. Trust me...the doctors are not doing them themselves. They wouldn't even know where to start.

Absolutely wrong that you have to go in an hour early to do prior authorizations at no pay. Does your work know that you do this? I'm thinking that they do and if they allow it that is so wrong.

@@cindifischer6919 My boss has asked me not to work off the clock but she WARNS me about working overtime. My priority is taking care of my patients so I work off the clock at 6:30 am when my boss is still at home and just waking up. I live in a different city so that means my alarm is set for 2:30 am to allow time to get ready and drive to work. It's not easy but people need their meds and tests. Once patients start arriving, there is 0 time to be on the phone with insurance companies or filling out online forms for prior auths. I take the hit for the greater good.

People rail against stuff until they go thru a life event where now that stuff is helping them. So don’t be so quick to judge and count your blessings. We all benefit together.

My Aetna silverscript $12/mo this year zero copay. Next year $47/mo $5 copay for every generic medication. Its so bad for our seniors

I signed on to part G last year at 150/mo. This year it's going to be 275/mo. My part D has been canceled completely!

We are not quite 65 yet, but work insurance is so lean these days, and RX drug pricing is so ridiculous; I told my doctor we are going to stop taking them. The Pharmacy won't even refill a prescription early if you need more for vacation.

Will the recent smack down of the 1984 "Cheveron Ruling" by SCOTUS, effect FDA, medication costs, rules?

I work in Pharma, and the whole industry is very excited to be able to get rid of the FDA shackles. Stock has finally risen after years of being devalued.

I have Wellcare part D this year $0 premium. One generic prescription that is $0 cost to me each 90 day refill. Thanks for the warning. Sticker shock is coming along with with a dose of subsidization. I'm thinking maybe you were chief cheerleader for the cheer squad in high school ?
