Covetousness is frequently listed in Scripture with heinous sins that will keep one out of the kingdom of God. Join us for this week’s study as we look at examples of just how bad it is and what we can do to overcome it.

Sin is egregious; Lord convict us of any sins - open or secret - that needs to be confessed and immediately repented of, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

How we can avoid Covetousness. 1. Recognize this is a projection of Satan's influence coming over you. 2. Repent. 3. Renew your focus on walking in a covenant relationship with the Lord. 4. Reach out to God in daily prayer asking him to deliver you from evil. 5. Regularly study your bible. 6. Return tithes and offering faithfully as remedies for the spirit of covetousness. 7. Remember you're a child of God.

31:32. It seems, the disciples didn't know Christ was God. Judas doesn't seem to know he's betraying the maker of the cosmos, who set the foundation for this Earth AND many other places of habitation for beings he's created. Babylon 5 wasn't far off except it was! 🙄🙄🙄 We stand to learn a lot from Christ! ✌️✌️✌️✌️ But those poor disciples don't seem to know who Christ actually was. And Judas was a robber? Hi, Some of the Bible verses are not appropriate at all. For example Genesis 38, 9&10 "Anon slept with his brother's wife but spilled the semmen on the ground and therefore the Lord slew him"

Ananias & Sapphira were given no chance or forgiveness. One has to look at David who plotted the murder of Urias and took his wife or Saul enroute to Damascus to do God knows what. They were greatly blessed and restored. However Ananias & Sapphira got no forgiveness from the holy spirit because it was the unforgivable sin. One would be told to forgive his brother 70x7. But that is only against your brother. The holy spirit is on a different level though and you will not be offered these chances. Thus the immediate fate of this hapless couple was death. Furthermore it shows that God is deathly serious when it comes to money and tithes and offerings.
