Just so everyone is aware: this only applies to direct access via a USB charging port. This does not apply if you are using a 12v power adapter plugged into a wall power outlet. If you MUST plug in to a USB charging station/port: buy a data blocker. They only allow a/c power through but the channels that data travels on are just not there so there's no connection.

Wouldn’t it at least ask you something like “Do you want to trust this computer?” Or something like that

Simple solution. Use a 'Charge Only' USB cable, no data transfer possible.

I only charged my phone once at an airport. I never saw the little logo on my cell. I just played a game while charging. So, if someone was looking at my phone, they didn't get much of anything. Thank you. Now, I will not charge my phone in anywhere those chargers are located.

Always leave the house/car with 100%, only USB you should plug in in public is the cord to charge your portable power bank.

Well then i think the most safest way is to bring your own charging brick any time... or provide your own cable specified only for charging and not transferring data....

@@thatgreycbr that's stupid to say so. Both are vulnerable and just because someone is using an iPhone it doesn't make them safer

@@thatgreycbr, a hacker can hack into any phone when they are ready to do it. The software programmer who wrote software for iPhone will be the same person that will program hacking software. We just need to be careful.
