I completely understand in the 80s and the 90s because everyone were picking on Khmer,Laos,and Vietnamese who just arrived in the US. But these new and young born and raised in the US without any language barrier to still be doing this so called gang thing, you basically don’t know the history to why the older generations did it. Myself and other friends who were targeted and beaten including losing some friends all because we didn’t speak or understand English. We were targeted by non Asian. Now the Asians are killing each other over the stupid gangs. When you arrive in prison, you will deal with the non Asian and you will be forced to unite with all Asians. I was in prison for six years when I was 15 years old for fighting back on two Hispanic men attempting to kill me and my two friends. Since I didn’t know the language I ended up doing time. After I was released and got off parole. I enlisted in the Army, graduated from the University and started a few successful businesses. So my advice to anyone who thinks that gangs are the best way to go, I would advise you to rethink that is the worst decision you’re going to make for the rest of your life.

TRG use to be pretty deep in San Diego in the 90's. They were always having rumbles with other asian gangs. You'd just be casually walking down the street and see two gangs walking towards each other and you knew automatically one of those gangs was TRG. I use to live next door where they use to hang out at, there was always something going on there. Sometimes at random there would be a fight in the middle of the street at that house. Luckily there was never a shooting. I even went to high school with some of them, and even though they were gang related, they did well in school grade wise. Who knows where they ended up after all these years.

When I was 15 years old I was working at the Port in Stockton Ca and worked with some guys that were older then me they were from TRG they were Cambodian and cool AF. I've met some cool dudes from ABZ as well. Everybody knows in CA then asian gangs don't play
