Many people move to Pasadena because they need to commute to places like Downtown, Glendale or Burbank. I’ve also serviced clients who work remote and move here from more expensive places of US like New York, Bay Area or West LA and think Pasadena is affordable!

Yeah, air quality kind of sucks. When I was younger I didn’t notice it as much, but now it’s becoming an issue. Some days in the summer it’s best I don’t go outside.

Pasadena ton of demons and unclean spirits. I wouldn't wanted to live there as it could be curse just like Griffith Park. Too many witches and Pagan, Satan, Baphomet worshippers in Pasadena.

There was a thriving nightlife back in the 90's and 2000's but it got too popular for it's own good. People from other cities were going into town to party and that brought trouble.

Pasadena is really famous for its restaurants now. Ever since the pandemic a lot of new award winning restaurants have opened up here.

Nice work brother. .. Sure, it has its thing/or not…. 😝 but I saw your 5 things as pluses. . -and while it’s normally awesome weather, the summer temps can get +10-+15 degrees HOTTER in July/August SOME September in Pasadena, more than Burbank/Hollywood/Santa Monica. (Coastal) 🥵 😎☀️

Thanks for the comment! You’re right it can get really hot in the summer. For 2 story buildings there can be a 5 degree difference between 1st and 2nd floor also…

Education is up to oneself. We have dumbbells going to private school and masterminds in public school. The internet is a vast resource for learning, most ppl these days use it to chat instead of reading, research and write. The new gen has reduced their knowledge to acronyms..take advantage of all the free education, it will catapult you to thr top.

Yes prestigious education isn’t going to determine if your kids succeed. However median home price in Pasadena is around $1.2m now and people who pay that kind of money tend to want fancier things and expect their kids to have some type of name brand education.

I have been watching your videos to get a better understanding of moving to LA. My husband and I are not sure what neighborhood best fits us, do you have any feedback? We have no kids (maybe one day), early 30's, 2 dogs and looking for a house/townhome with a pool. We are dual income and he would be working in Industry Park. We want a commute on the shorter end. Looking for a city that we can walk around, go to a nice bar, parks, workout outside. Thoughts?

Hi Chelsea. I don’t know of city called industry park around LA. Do you mean “City of Industry?” Your question really depends on your lifestyle. Which city do you currently live in now? I can take a look and suggest something similar around LA!

@@livinginpasadena Well we actually live out of state! We are visiting LA in two weeks to see if we could live there, my husbands work is possibly sending him there. The facility is located in Baldwin Park, pretty close to were Hwy 10 and Hwy 605 meet. We have no friends in LA, but we have some family in Long Beach and Temecula. Our lifestyle is a mix of eating out, hikes, walks, walking the dogs, visiting nice bars and farmers markets. We like trying new things, new restaurants and want a chance to meet new people. We are typical early 30 year old's who might eventually have kids. I hope that helps!

We also heard that most people commute into the city, so living closer to the city and commuting east is better then east to west. Is that true? A shorter/normal commute is necessary for us but I hear traffic down there is bad.

@@chelmdel Hi Chelsea. Baldwin Park isn’t part of downtown Los Angeles so that wouldn’t really effect you. For walkable areas with bars, cafe, parks I would suggest looking in old town Monrovia and Downtown Whittier. They’re both within 30 mins from Baldwin Park and super walkable!

In my days Pasadena had nothing out there gangs ran the city when they locked everyone one up an bulid the city they raised the rent up .I remember when it was places to park city definitely change sum good sum bad 😅

Thank you. Glad to see I'm not the only one who understands how the city allows vagrants and panhandlers to do as they please. I was starting to think it was only me. Soon we will be like LA. Then Pasadena will become the next third world tent city. The city needs tougher leadership.
