Start saving from day one from the 1st pay at 24yrs. Live simply ( simple living high thinking). Keep good health.( a happy married life helps a lot in this). This is most essential. Travel a lot on holidays. Keep developing skills so that you can work and contribute even after retirement.

Thankyou sir. I m already living the 2nd innings of life. Consciously or unconsciously, i adopted some of the things you mentioned like having a second source of income, encouraging spouse to continue in her career, etc. I was a little late in starting retirement corpus, but didn't forget to do it. I wish I had. come across your advice when I was 40. Thank you sir for your words of wisdom.

Fantastic video sir! Very educational. Thank you! I will turn 40 in July and this video is a confirmation to the direction of my thoughts towards financial planning. I agree and had projected most you said . Some points are emotional like managing family stress ( parents income, expenses, late child). I always wanted to hear from a senior like you. I also showed the video to my wife and we both received confirmation to our thoughts. One point to add would be making sure life term insurance is in place to protect family during unforeseen situations.

Great video! What you've said is 100% true, most people on social media are very young and haven't been through all the ups and downs. Life is easy when you're young and most things go according to plan. Wish someone had showed this to me in my 20's. But people don't listen until it's too late.

Just a fantastic reality check hearing you speak. If we have missed out in the first innings thanks to low paying corporates, we are now following on and have to play like Laxman-Dravid to win the test match of life. This is the kind of mature talk we need in youtube. Chandrakanth bhat will not give you tips on how to double your money overnight in crypto or promote some IPL gambling app. Life is a test match not a T20 game. Todays youngsters are misguided by run of the mill youtubers bull shit.

Good content, Eye opener for today's generation. Working culture in a family life will ruin peace. Just for the sake of equality and increasing networth, Kids are becoming monsters without parental care and handholding. Lucky our generation where Mother took care of our upbringing by sacrificing their degrees and decent paying office/school jobs.

This is true most of the KZbinrs are children when it comes to financial planning, they relate their own youtube success to fact that they are very good planner. Some points which I personally think make sense: 1. Get your own home as soon as possible in life. Do not break the bank purchase a property 75% of what you can afford. 2. Get married early (around 26) and have one kid before 30. 3 years should be enough to enjoy ;) 3. If you are salaried, build a side business or have at least 2 businesses if you are self-employed or a business person.

late marriages is not a demerit as long as your are financially independent. To be happy in life never listen to your surrounding. Try to do 2 jobs till 40 years and ensure you saved some decent amount. Learn trading and start earning secondary income after 35 yrs. It will take time. Still be disciplined and earn good amount by sitting at home. money makes you happy even if you crossed 60yrs. very important point you should not have any EMI once you reach 40 yrs.
