The angle dragon more or less self destructed due to its power source being cut off during it's fight with misaka. Because if I remember correctly the host it attached itself to had the ability to open a wormhole and connect to a blackhole essentially obtaining unlimited energy and that was what the angel dragon was feeding off of. If you do want to watch it in chronological order then it goes. 1. Railgun Season 1 2. Railgun S and Index Season 1 (both happen around the same time so order doesn’t matter) 3. Index season 2 & Railgun T (again, both happen around the same time so order doesn’t matter) 4. INDEX Season 3 There’s an accelerator series as well which takes place a bit before Railgun T I think.

Is Touma really a good fighter though? The main people he beats are women, children, and the elderly... and one mage with a glass jaw. Most people rely on their magic or abilities and lose to him because of this. Accelerator is probably the best example of this as he broke when Touma pitifully flailed his hand and touched Accelerator. When he's fought people who specialize in actual hand to hand, like one of his friends and a delivery girl, he either gets beaten till hospitalization of from midday to sun down before landing a hit. :)

While I agree with you that Fanservice is boring and would be better without, Index is a light novel from the 2000s. At that time, fanservice was widely applied in novels: Zero no Tsukaima, Shakugan no Shana, etc. And although it still exists, the author reduced the excess fanservice throughout the arcs. While the anime decided to cut and shorten dialogue, fights and important explanations just to show the fanservice, so being just from the anime the impression is that Index has much more fanservice than story. Even though I'm against what the anime did, I still don't think Index is on Fire Force and Fairy Tail's level in terms of fanservice where the exciting atmosphere of the fights was broken with jokes about Tamaki and Lucy having her clothes ripped off out of nowhere.

@@helpfulreaper7684 I mean, the author wrote him to be a kind of joker who beats the strong but loses to the weak, and so, this mc is the character in the franchise with the most defeats. With his right hand that cancels powers, all this mc does is bring opponents down to his level, if the opponent is superior to him in terms of experience, physique and battle IQ, the opponent can already beat him. Robots made of materials without any supernatural powers would be one of their weaknesses, as the mc cannot cancel their attacks and their movements are difficult to read. If he isn't careful, even a normal weapon could kill him. There is also the fact that his right hand does not cancel all types of power, it has weaknesses that it is up to the mc himself to use his brain to overcome them. Really powerful things like dragons appear when his arm is cut off but I would say that the author does not take advantage of this to transform him into an op character within the narrative. Because in 58 volumes, his arm is only cut a few times and even when it is cut, there are times when nothing comes out. The few times these powerful things appeared, they either guaranteed the mc victory or they were completely useless and easily overcome depending on the opponent. Thus showing that these powers are not like an Exódia card that guarantees victory instantly just by being invoked on the battlefield. In short, the mc rarely takes advantage of these powers, the author likes to make him fight in a simple way, that's why in 58 volumes he is the only one in the main cast who doesn't have power ups, in 95% of his fights, he always has the same basic arsenal: A right hand that cancels powers, his experience in street fights, his precognition and his battle IQ to fight. Thus, his fights are always accompanied by a lot of sweat and in the end, he always ends up in the hospital with a broken part of his body or some sequelae (memory loss for example).

Wins because of plot armour? No, half the time Touma gets his ass kicked or even ends up at deaths door and needs to fight them again. Often times his allies act as massive support to turn the tides. The imagine breaker and the entities in his right hand do help him win some fights but they are not an instant win button since there are characters that are immune or overpower touma’s abilities. This is a series where certain characters fight other characters who hard counter them. Im not sure what you mean by “lose to other characters with greater plot armour” that has never been the case. All fight’s actually require strategy and characters need to use their resourcefulness to win fights.

Why do people think Imagine Breaker is a seal? IB existed in different people and those people didn't had dragons and other bs, We already know why Imagine Breaker exist and what it is so this seal bs annoys me especially since Kamachi hasn't said that IB is a seal. And Misaka beating Angel Dragon was pure BS and she didn't even overpower it that was just some wiki issue sh.t and Angel Dragon goes sayonara after that.
