✅ About Lost Socket Garage:
Lost Socket Garage.com was created in 2019, though its roots run much longer. It all began with a group of friends that loved to modify their cheap high school cars with next to no actual budget. Originally focusing on our love of American Muscle, we grew into specializing in Classic Ford mustangs and more specifically the highly popular Coupe to Fastback Conversion. With the Fastback Market skyrocketing, we wanted to provide a realistic alternative to owning a classic Fastback without shelling out the premium they draw.
With many Successful conversions under our belt, our goal is to provide Knowledge, Experience, and the highest Quality in the industry at a reasonable price. At Lost Socket Garage, we truly love the car culture and the community that goes with it. It’s not about the money, it’s about making people smile when they hit the gas.
Sincerely, Hunter Smith
Owner and Gearhead at Lost Socket Garage

weird part for me, I really like the 68 coupe. to me it is easily as nice as the 68 FB. I think it is the only year I think that way until the foxbodys.

I had to disassemble the right and left rocker panel assemblies on a 66 coupe from dynacorn because they were misaligned and also when i got them apart they had rusted on the uncoated inner part.

I agree whole hearted. I don't use the pre welded sides when I can avoid it. We buy everything individually because the first prewelded assembly we put on was off by 1/2 inch in one of their spots. But I do love their individual stamped stuff

I am wondering if you found a 67 convertible how hard would it be to do a fastback conversion for it
@lostsocketgarage
@lostsocketgarage Ай бұрын
Not harder than a coupe! Actually it'd be a bit better because 1. less cutting 2. Floor is already a thicker gauge steel 3.and it has both torque boxes already! So she would actually be stiffer from the gate.

Hey, great vids! Do you guys have a parts list, with all of the names, or part numbers, of the component pieces to replicate the welded Dynacorn side assembly? Also, where do you source the individual parts from? NPD, Kentucky Mustang, CJ Pony, Macs, West Coast Cougars??? Etc..... Any info in this regard would be most useful. Maybe you listed all this stuff before??? BTW - does anybody else make these parts also beside Dynacorn? Many thanks.

I have a 67 coupe That someone replaced the rear quarter panels on and the new quarters don't have the cutouts for the side vents so I bought new vents but would like to have a pattern to go by for cutting the holes , with all the fenders you cut off do you happen to have something I can use as a pattern ?

I'm in the middle of my coupe to fastback conversion too. I purchased the Dynacorn 67FBBRKT bracket conversion kit also, but now I'm looking for any installation/measurement diagram for placement for all of these brackets. Any suggestions? Are there templates?

@@lostsocketgarage thanks for the fast reply. Love your videos and have been watching them as I’m going to attempt this myself. Are you drilling 1/8” or 3/16” holes for your spot welds? Looks like they are about 3” apart but I’m presuming there isn’t an exact number.
@lostsocketgarage
@lostsocketgarage Жыл бұрын
We have a nuematic hole punch that's 5/16. We do holes every 3-6 inches depending on where we are welding. Then obviously around bends and corners they are closer. Thanks! Let us know if you have questions. Feel free to dm us on Instagram
