Bewdley flood barriers in place amid high River Severn water levels

I live in Kidderminster The Bridge closed again so there is no danger of Pedestrians and Vehicles getting swept away with the bridge. Yet when the levels of water are down I don't hear of the Bridge getting checked above and below the water level. Whose to say the water hasn't already damaged it

It's crap for parking I've had tickets for being seconds late. Also only a mini market and mini tesco old pub. No sainsburys, asda, Morris ons, lidl, aldior waitrose Yet.
