Today's PIANO BY REQUEST is for Alexandra Skouloudis and it is the utterly enchanting Jazz Song "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" by Rodgers and Hart - I hope you like my improvised piano version. This has been sung by everybody - Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Tormé, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan and as a duet by Rod Stewart & Cher and more recently by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett! It's such a wonderful song and I loved playing it today in my slow saturday mood :-) Wish you all a bewitching weekend ... but not so bothersome or bewildering! :-)

What piano do you play on?

Hi Miguel! It’s a Yamaha P121 upright piano with the SH Silent System … I really love it. I record the audio directly onto USB stick in my piano and then I usually work a little on the sound in Pro Tools (a little EQ and reverb - I use QL Spaces) … I love the Yamaha CFX concert grand sample - that’s what you’re hearing. Do you like it?
