I think that the problem is mainly just that the stability comes from the bottom, but the weight's all at the top, so it's like, constantly on the edge of tipping over (but the spinning stabilizes it enough to only tilt a bit), causing it to constantly drift, and end up wandering off the arena
@NitheraNether3 ай бұрын

well, it also enables the gyroscopic effect to take hold. All the mass is centralized and forms a radius, so it keeps its momentum going uphill like a driven wheel. asymmetrical weight on the bottom would pull it down when it starts to roll sideways, as it should add a moment that makes upright a better resting position.

I feel like (as a non-trailmakers player) building less symmetry is just worse. Consider a rotating object. 2 way symmetry introduces a lot of oscillation in the rotation. Then you hit the ground once or another player and end up being dragged in a sort of ellipse. The more planes of symmetry; the more stable you become. Also, weight toward the outside edge like Yzuei's helps balance it out. Weight in the middle does the opposite and leaves you prone to being thrown off-kilter.

scrap, you need to make less top heavy designs, both so that it has an easier time hitting the other's beyblades with the parts intended to hit and so that they stop leaning over. when they lean over they then start climbing out of the arena one thing to know is that most actual beyblades have smooth tips and areas around the tip so that they don't grip the arena. the exception to this is attack type beys which have rough tips that act kind of like how yours normally act in that they are intended to grip the arena an hurl themselves around. a problem with them is that they are intended to knock opponents out of the arena and thus aren't as good for this destruction derby type fight.

I'm pretty sure the main reason your beyblades keep tipping over is that they are too tall and don't have enough weight in the top part to properly act as a gyro. Yzuei's beyblade was wide and short and therefore wasn't trying to tip over, so quadrilateral symmetry lower down and wider should result in a much more stable beyblade. Edit: Having more mass in the spinning part also allows for heavier blows to the other beyblades, hence why Yzuei's beyblade did more damage to yours and Prof's.

@jan_harald3 ай бұрын
@@AtomicA7 actually, the amount of sides or their length doesn't matter as long as it's SOMEWHAT symmetrical (you don't even need perfect mirroring if you have infinite spin like here, though unevenness does tend to destabilize, the reason real ones are very symmetrical is simply to stay spinning longer, because the losing condition is "stops spinning or exits arena", and there's no infinitely powered helicopter servos or whatnot in real life, so you'd simply slow down and crash rather quickly) the problem I think is mainly just that the stability comes from the bottom, but the weight's all at the top, so it's like, constantly on the edge of tipping over (but the spinning stabilizes it enough to only tilt a bit), causing it to drift, and end up wandering off the arena

if anyone is reading this IF you want to make a beyblade in this game add a cyclone design since the outmost parts of the beyblade hits the opponent without interfering the middle this design is way more destructive if the outmost parts go with the direction the beyblade is spinning (the normal design (irl like version) would make it so you get less damage as it just pushes the opponent away) also tip: if you want your bey blade to spin upright then add a weight at the ends yzuei has skulls on each end making it even

You have this habit of building your Beyblade's "blades" on *top* of the helicopter engine, which raises the center of mass too high and that causes stability issues. Building off the side of the helicopter engine (kind of like Yuzei's build) helps keep the center of mass low to the ground, which should improve stability.

What about fan only beyblades. Second idea is that the arena you are using, if a beyblade is on metal it's still considered in play but split in the inner arena and outer arena, inner arena is what truly matters for the win, so long as there are least two beyblades in the inner arena the beyblades in outer arena is still in play how ever if there is only one beyblade in the inner arena all beyblade must enter inner arena from outer arena in set time or they lose, once number of baybledes is two or more in the inner arena the outer arena is safe again. Basically the inner arena green zone, outer arena yellow zone, and anything not a part of the metal arena is the red zone.
