I like lui 's character development I actually liked him in burst and evolution I liked how he is the sassiest character in the series. I like all the antagonists especially red eye I believe he was not actually evil I don't really blame him I really liked seeing the struggle that was happening between shu and his alter ego ( spryzen). However it baffled me why lui hated shu? I believe maybe because he saw him as a threat.

Shu dislikes lui because the scar and how he calls him pathetic and he always lost to lui. But after season 2 when shu broke luis Bey I don't think they hate eachother as much as before but still have that rivalry.

Also shu was the first one to burst lui 's bey so lui at least has got to respect him. I love valt but why did lui respect valt but not shu?
